Carl and/or Karissa - Bryne (I'm not sure if you can do this or not b/c I dont remember if HGM can or not)
I've noticed quite a bit of threads lately about players who are not able to raise their crafting skills do to the Expert quest being bugged.

Obviously a lot of players are not happy right now with the state of the server so I suggest to help them out by raising their crafting levels by 1p for them until the quest is either fixed or they do not need to do it anymore.

All you would need to do is go in game to do a //playerinfo <charname> skill and it will list all of the skill levels of a player including craft levels. As long as they are at the correct level, just raise that craft by 1p so the player can continue leveling it. When Crystal got the new emu I was doing this for players so I know from experience it doesnt take up a lot of time unless you've got a lot of players at once pming you to raise it for them.

Here is the crafting skills and the corresponding skill number for each:

    Essencetapping - 30002
    Aethertapping - 30003

    Handicrafting - 40008
    Alchemy - 40007
    Carpentry - 40006
    Tailoring - 40004
    Armorsmithing - 40003
    Weaponsmithing - 40002
    Cooking - 40001
    Morphing - 40009

You do have to be next to the players to raise the skill level. Just target the player and use the following command //addskill <skill number> <level>

For instance if you had a player who needed alchemy raised to 400 you would use
    //addskill 40007 400

This is only a suggestion to help your players out. It seems there are quite a few people quitting lately so doing something small things like this can go a long way.

It was the same on Crystal when I started out. Just do it one player at a time. :D

There won't be that many people... ofc doing a small script that changes the skill level too 400 to 399 would be easy too, and just add it while the quest is bugged.

Even better would be to create a custom command similar to givemissingskills that would just give max craft levels to a specific craft.

    Less time consuming overall.

They couldnt even get the //givemisingslots custom command back working so I doubt they would be able to make a custom command for crafting. I seriously hope they take this idea into consideration for not only the players sake but for the servers as well. When things are as bad as they are right now, now is the time you've got to really step up and take care of the players you still have.

Besides you at least made it easier on them providing them all the codes in a convenient location :p I remember countless trips to YG because I was too stupid to ever write them down somewhere.
