The Two D's to Success

Derrick Rose and Defense. Derrick Rose and the Bulls lit up quarter 1 yesterday, and then after a stagnant quarter 2 and 3, went on to kill the Hawks in quarter 4. The Bulls got like ten standing ovations in that quarter alone. Now that things aren't so busy, I'll hopefully be going to all their home games, it's a magical time in Chicago, the city's glowing and the fans are roaring since Rose is giving Chicago a taste of that legend, Michael Jordan, who left 13 years ago.

I didn't make a thread yesterday cause I was exhausted and just went to bed after the game. Anyways a really well done video

You people are overestimating my fanaticism. Everyone in Chicago is pretty much like this. I saw at least 50 Rose shirts and Jerseys today. Unfortunately, as of now, I dont even own 1 ;(

Why don't you look at how Drew Brees is treated in New Orleans. Granted they have a reason to idolize him, but don't tell me I'm overdoing it until you see that ;o. You people just don't see enough sports ;(

 

I can understand that lots of people idolize a lot of athletes, especially really special ones, but I'll always laugh at any of my friends that count as one of those "idolizes X athlete" type of people

It's Chicago, a sports city through and through, can't blame me ;(. Plus, consider the fact that this was the location of the 90's Bulls...arguably the most special sports team in history.

 

I like my Rose homegrown.

Let's finish off the Hawks tonight and bring on the Heat. Chicago could use a real championship, not one in baseball or hockey...pfft.
