My friend accepted an accelerated med program at University of Alabama, full ride, over Harvard. I think he made the right choice, but he's gotten a lot of flak for it ;o.

Just thought it was sorta related her. lmao

 

Typically Harvard doesn't give out a whole lot of free rides so it does seem like a good choice espeically since she'll be done quicker and they'll pay for most everything. She won't have to worry about the mounting debt most graduates are having nowadays. A lot of stories are coming out about it lately, saying that the current 2011 graduates have a ridiculous amount of debt.

 

Why she? ;o. it's a he lmao. But yeah...money wasn't the issue. I think location and the accelerated program played a role. But a full ride doesn't hurt. Personally, Harvard just seems like an elitist school with not a whole lot marginal to its name.

But we digress, I still couldn't find that saying so I referred to a less sophisticated and fluent version x.x.

Harvard is pretty elitist, considering most people who attend that college have this sense of entitlement like "I am better than everyone else." Not saying all are, but I've met a few Harvard grads before. I have no doubt that they are quite intelligent, some anyways, but a lot of them get in on their parent's dime for the most part.

 

HHmmmm I must say that I believe that the validity of that degree is questionable at best.

 

Sir, I'll have you know I went to Medical School for six plus years to get that degree.
