Windows XP Item.pak (For lucky wing) Crash Workaround (Working)

    In order for you to be able to view lucky wings on win xp (I had this issue.)

    Update your client to 2.1.0.12.

    Keep the Item.pak that is in DATA/USA/ITEMS.
    Rename it to say Item2.pak.
    Download and install the 16.6mb rar (18.6mb unrar)
    Place that file in the DATA/USA/ITEMS folder as well, with your origonal item.pak.
    You will be able to log in and view lucky wings, however trading items that are 'untradable' is impossible.

    In order for you to trade items that are untradable.
    You must first MOVE the two item.pak from the DATA/USA/ITEMS folder and place them elsewhere (Like your desktop)
    Then place the 2.1 tradable item.pak in that same folder.

    It is a working solution for windows xp.

    At least for now.

    If yes,I still cant trade any kind of wings,mcd,mck,mcc,anuhart,taha.

    my wings is invisible and no icon just blank but i can equip.. does anybody know how to make it visible?

    by using the old item.pak even not renaming it and download the new item.pak has no difference.. no name indicated but a blank icon so not helping!!!

    You need UPDATE your client to 2.1.0.12 , keep the item.pak that came with that update in the data/usa/item folder, rename it to something like item2.pak (Mines for whatever reason item5.pak) and put the big dl'd item pak in the same folder with the name item.pak.

    If you are on win xp, it will allow you to see the lucky wings and not crash on start for whatever reason. YOU WILL NOT BE able to trade anything that is inherently un-trade-able. So you will NEED to get the smaller working item.pak as well for that.

    To trade as already explained, you need to move your renamed + the big item.pak out of that folder, and put the working trade one in.

    THE GAME WILL CRASH if you try to use THE Working Lucky wing pak and the allow trade pak at the same time for whatever reason.

    Not working for me i do that......i put the big + renamed somewere else and put 2.1 asanka's and when i iopen game it put SendLogClient

    already updated.....not helping.... i am able to view my wings now by repairing my client and using the default item.pak.. even after repairing and following ur tips does not helps so i replace back the original pak but all items is untradable but i can see the wings..

    So youre saying without VIP you can trade anu gear with the old Item pak?
