Exactly which is why We need to focus on the mission (no Emotions preferable) and stop thinking back home...

 

Then it will be innocent people being killed rather than enemies/other soldiers.

I ain't sure about mind controlling 'warfare', but mind controlling has and always is happening. Social information control of the masses.

For all we know it might of happened already, but kept in secret. The rest of the world would not accept this achievement. They'll talk about human rights and such. Something like this would be too dangerous to be kept in the open.
