GamezAion and Donating

READ ALL OF THE THREAD BEFORE POSTING​

As of today, several friends and myself decided that we will cease all future donations until a time where GamezAion is at a level of playability that it should be.

Why are we ceasing donations? Look at the server. It's understandable that a new EMU was implemented and that there are bugs, but why should it take weeks to fix a few simple issues? Why should we donate any of our money to a piece of shit?

Carl, get your ass on and do something. Obviously I'm in no position to make demands, however, I'm offended by the quality of service that you provide. Even if it is free, there's no reason that it shouldn't match the level of gaming other servers provide. It's easy for the community to see an owner without passion, but it's too damn hard for them to get a word in.

GamezAion obviously receives a lot of donations, so where the hell does all of that money go? Server upkeep? I doubt it.

If you have a job or something, let the public know about it; for christ sakes, for all we know you sit at home in a dark room and fap all day.

Evilset: this thread is not aimed at you, you're pretty much a one-man dev team and there's not much you can do solo.

What I would like to see: A real developer team

Having dealt with forum spammers in the past, most seem to post anything they can to disagree with the OP. However, we can all agree that barely any work is getting done, Carl is way too inactive for the server's own good, and there's no point in donating into something that clearly does not work the way it should. So for once, I ask you not to spam this thread, but simply post whether you agree or disagree, and why. This thread is not for discusssion. If we stick together, we may be able to get some kind of solution out of Carl.

TL;DR: The server is bug-ridden and Carl isn't doing anything but sitting back and sucking in the donation money. Carl: if you want any more of my money, you'll need to work for it.

 

mhm, keep gamez online costing around 1k~2k usd/month if not 2x more . and atm this thread gonna be drama one ... about more dev's ,yah would be cool to have like 1~2 more, but also evilset isnt alone , there is 1 more krudus or something . i forgot name of other dev. also things arent easy as you think, try to handle ur own server, and u will see, talking from my own exp with it.

hey i give you credit for the good criticism about the whole server, and emu and donations part, also for the suggesting on more developers.
but i geuss we can only hope for the best.
ive seen several topics like this, but everything keeps coming back in circles, would be nice though to see what you suggested happen. and as HellMade said, this might become a drama thread or another closed or deleted thread =/

dude, u just talking about dedicated server, and u forgetting tons of things. and if you think 4gb ram pc can handle over 1k ppl in aion, + when there isnt 1 server+forum+website. im dance strip for you.

 

I did forget its like different servers...damn(games-siel/lumiel, crystal-whateverithas, gamezmu)

to handle a simply mu server with around of 400~700 ppl online need pc like this, if you want server would be playable to that amount of ppl.

I doubt the maintaining of the server would cost thousands monthly , that's the profit daily ... more likely .

 

Sorry to say but Carl can do whatever he wants with the money you "donate" to him. Even though it's MEANT to be spent on the server everyone knows wheter he spends it on the server or on whatever he wants is up to him.

lol Gamez is not the most populated Private server trust me NCsoft would target first ******** aion.

 

I'm pretty sure Gamez is the most populated because it was one of the first with high-rates.
