I almost give up.

Hey, i have been trying to install this game non-stop for 3 days now. And i swear i have tried every way on the forum on how to install this game. I have tried reinstalling the game 4 times now and made sure my region was north american and started in English only..... that didn't work and I've tried replacing the bin 32 file, i have tried the launcher and get an error on the every time(GamezAion has stopped working, a problem has caused it to stop working) and I've tried replacing the L10n folder. I am mainly receiving the not available in my country error and authorization server error. i am running windows 7 and used run administrator on everything i could. outy:

I am really interested on playing this game so if any1 could possibly help me with this problem it would be well appreciated. Thanks :wink:

I already tried both of those and the ip it was already at 69.167.179.118 in the .BAT file in the gamezaion folder. and when i try to extract the suppport folders and extract them into my aion directory with winrar i get extracting errors stating that some of the files are corrupt.......

 

Ahh... uhmmm so files corrupt error fo the support files right? If I knew where to for free I'd upload the one's I downloaded before and you could try with that.

Maybe first try extracting them onto you're desktop rather than right into the aion directory; sometimes it makes a difference.

 

Maybe you have an anti-virus that leeches stuff from your rars?

Some sensitive AVs may find some AION files hostile and delete them without notice. :unsure:

 

Ok i have avast antivirus and i have windows firewall off every time i tried to extract and i still get the errors when extracting it to the desktop.

 

Tried to re-install your client?
It might be broken.

 

My problem was that
i had to go to the NCSoft launcher and change the language from English to English.
It's a weird bug, but it can half your gameplay D:
So even if it says English, pull the drop down and change it to English.

Read my first post i have reinstalled numerous times and tried everything on the forums, i think the file corrupt errors im getting with winrar might be the main reason why i cant connect, but then im also having problems with the launcher, so thats why i resorted to making a thread

 

Yeah well the winrar corruption means that either some files are being blocked by your PC/AV or that you're downloading an already corrupted rar.

 

I have tried that as well Nina and there is no update or anything happens just says its ready to play..... but i didnt notice that when i install the game under europe region next to the game aion it says (north america) and exteel says (us) so idk if thats a bug or it means something.....

Try this..open the Original Aion First..the run gamezaion as administrator, and if launcher is your problem, DL the launcher from the site not from the forum, launcher size is 28mb or 28kb i forgot. try this and if still dont work be more specific in your problem again.

 

Maybe you are running an (too) old version of winrar (note; i havent tried the mentioned files myself)??

 

Atm im reinstalling it....... then im gonna try with a new fresh install and try to follow whatever good instal directions that some might be able to put on here for me and try that....

 

Seens as you have uninstalled it, make sure there is no NCSoft/Aion folder let, then install the game, and as soon as the launcher is open, change the county to North America, then let the launcher restart ect..

After that, check your Aion folder, (Make sure it doesnt say AionEU and only says Aion) then fully update your game, after being fully updated run it through the NCSoft Launcher and then quit when loaded, that will get rid of all .PATCHED files and the ~PS folder if they are still there, it will also fix any issues.

After this install the GamezAion launcher into the Aion folder (Note: Not NCSoft folder, the Aion folder) after all this you should be good to play.

The ncsoft launcher wont restart by itself after i hit the restart now button..... and ugh... this is turning into such a hassle i cant figure this crap out at all even when i install it with the north american region when i use the gamezaion installer i get and error before it patches 1 file..... and i relly just want to play this game lol

 

i just started playin yesterday. what i did was downloaded the 1.9.0.1 NA client using torrent then updated it to 1.9.0.2 using ncsoft launcher took me 4 minutes to fully update it using ncsoft launcher then installed the gamezaion installer exe. then run as administrator the gamezaion laucher and it works for me. hope this helps

It could also be the rar client that you are using. Sometimes older versions of winrar conflict with newer versions and give corruption message when the rar is not corrupted.

Try using 7zip to uncompress or update your winrar.
