Can i play AION in windows xp

As the title says, thats my question. ^^

Can i play AION in windows xp ?

because im using windows 7 and my problem is its so lag leatrix dosent work to my pc.

and someone told me that if leatrix wont work on win 7, its sure it works in windows xp

so im planning to change my win7 OS to WinXP OS ..

and. i saw many threads that windows xp dont have working item.pak . cause the other items.pak works only in win 7.

so can anyone link me here item.pak / npc.pak / system.ovr and any files of aion that works with windows xp.

Aion works in Windows XP, without question.

Leatrix works in Windows XP SP2+, Windows Vista SP1+, and Windows 7.

Windows XP SP3 has issues with the items.pak.

Npcs.pak and system.ovr work for all operating systems.

 

then leatrix is not working on my pc .

and thats why im asking if i can play aion using windows xp and leatrix will work if i use win XP.

Whoever told you it doesn't work on Windows 7 probably doesn't know what they're talking about. I'm using it, and I run Win7.

w/ or w/o leatrix i got 900 ~ 1k + ping if im in pandaemonium / sanctum

but if i use battle ping, i got 300 ~ 600 ping while standing in pandae/sanctum

but im not prem. in battle ping so i need to log out every 1 hr.

and thats very annoying to me . thats why im planning to change my os into win xp because of they said .

if leatrix wont work in win 7 then it will work in win xp . for sure.

but why if i go to pandae/sanctum w/o using bp i got 800 or 900 ~ 1k+ ms

i try to remove the leatrix and still i got 800 or 900 ~ 1k+ ms w/o using bp.

 

with leatrix and without battle ping = sometimes 800 ~ 1k+ ms

without leatrix and without battle ping = sometimes 800 ~ 1k+ ms

(still the same)

so leatrix is useless on my pc? T_T

i will try to get some SS later i will just finish my work 1st before playing aion.

pls, do not close this thread . i will proove that leatrix is not working in my pc.

 

I play on Win XP 64 bit if your curious about that as well. I had an issue where I had to reinstall DirectX once, but I partially think that was my fault.

Edit: And I'm not too sure on the Leatrix/BP thing. I have naturally low ping so I've never had to really test it. Hopefully someone here on the forums can give you the answers

 

1 - I have Windows XP Sp3
2 - Leatrix works fine on me
3 - Any item.pak works fine if you know where to put it ( Aion / Data / Usa / items or Aion / Data / Items for EU Users ...; Remember that if u repair your client you must copy the item.pak again )
4 - Npcs.pak and system.ovr works on any windows

Leatrix sometimes don't work..it says that is installed but nothing happens ( Happened to me and others )
