I've a question about Roleplayers

So, I'm looking for an alternative to the basic aion--mainly, a free alternative that all my friends can play on. I'd like to test things out, but I'll be waiting until 2.5 gets updated here until I can do that (which I've been looking around for an ETA, but have not found yet), so I figured my first step would be to find out if I'm even welcome.

I'm a roleplayer, and there's no doubt about it that I play Aion to RP; I like gaming with my friends and running around and meeting new people, but I'm more friendly than competitive in nature and I realize that Aion is a PVP game--so a private server that stresses in most of its information that it is PVP balanced would be very competitive.

I'm just wanting to know if I'd be crucified for playing here and bringing my friends--and if yes, then I will happily walk out and not bother you guys.

The more the merrier. It's always good to see new people, and don't be afraid to ask questions, we won't bite (well, some will, I won't lie to you lol).

I'm really excited, but I'm not sure if I should wait. I know from experience the 2.1 > 2.5 changes the looks of your characters a great deal and it would just upset me if it forced me to reroll everything.

And with such a nice welcome, I can't imagine I'm considering joining any other place. So, that just means I'll probably be dragging 18 or 19 friends along with me who wanted to play but couldn't due to money issues.

I've never done this before, to be honest. How are the two different (aside from what I read. . . I understand like, #x drop rates and such), but I mean, how do you deal with dyes and things that are usually only sold in the aion store? Do you guys have your own store, or is it more an in game purchase thing, or what? I read something about a //dye command, which was interesting, but cost a billion kinah. . . that's a lot, but I suppose if drop rates are upped it must be different.

When 2.5 gets updated, will you all get free plastic surgery, or is that an in game purchase kinda thing, too? I'm super excited; I've so many questions. /bounces/

Well let's say you vote for ABG items ..there is also a bug that makes you lose item ..of course the chance is low (You can create a thread with proofs and you can get your item back in 1 day 2 days or 2 weeks) ,,, Nobody told you about this right?

 

you just need proofs that you own the item :3
