Its so hard to add drops ?

Nope I've not even got a level 55 char yet, spent too much time messing around with alts and making pretty people. I have been on the game (on and off) since just before version 2.1 came out, so I've been waiting all this time too lol.

I understand fully both sides of this waiting for gear drops to be fixed. I have played many many private servers of quite a few games now and lots of things remain the same. I've also got a very small server of my own for another game and have spoken to a lot of developers, so I know how hard and long developing can be.

(Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this) As far as I understand Aion private servers currently run on an emulator, which was built from scratch so yes it's going to be buggy as all hell, and there are so many different fixes being worked on in different ways by different people, it's not always so easy as to just download an update or bugfix and slap it onto the server. It's a ton of work and honestly, the developers are probably working down the huge list of bugs and we don't know how important on that list that this gear is. Really lots of bugfixes, skill fixes and quest fixes will probably be ahead of gear in the queue, but I dunno, not a dev here lol.

I don't want the server to die, because then I won't be able to play it. My friends and I have been chatting away to each other in Legion and even trying to spark some conversations with other people to make the server a bit less dead. It's a vicious circle here where people give up because there's not the gear, but then because there's not a super-high population on the server, it doesn't get updated because there's not the money from more donations, so people leave because of the lack of updates and so on.
All I can suggest is that we do wait, ask nicely (Yes I understand Hex's frustration but he said himself that his tone was a bit wrong for what he really wanted to say) and encourage friends and anyone you know to play, come to events (I just got 50mill Kinah and scrolls for the pleasure of the AMs beating me up in a duel.) and try to pump some life back into the server. I can only really speak for the Asmo side because I haven't played much Elyos, but when there's random conversation around, sometimes it's been fun, but we also need less in-fighting in the race.

we can discuss about running private server or how are things on other servers but it doesnt change the fact that we need working drops if we want to keep ppl longer then month ...
ppl come , make 55 , make few DP runs , make few BT runs(fail) and decide to quit or go somewhere else .

anyways we are waiting for fixes ... i wonder if we gonna get them by the end of this year lol
