How do you get magical aether??

Is there any way to get magic aether on this server? I know you can use aether extractor tools in retail but I do not think they are on this server.
Is there any other way anyone knows of or could a GM comment on if is it even possible? Any input will be appreciated.

 

Good question, I asked the same a couple weeks back. The aether extracters are here and you can see them, but you cant buy them. Low priority I guess. I think maybe you can morph it, but good luck getting a morph design for it, the npc's spawn randomly in the abyss and mess around and approach one and youre dead in seconds unless youre with an alliance. Again, good luck.

 

I actually lucked out and found one in the abyss and bought every single morph design but they did not have a magical aether morph. I think it is something that is the basis for making higher level materials and would need to be collected like aether powder, crystals, ect... It would really be nice if we could find out from a GM or someone that knows for sure either way.

 

lol? have you ever been out to the npc's? apparently not, i've been out 3 times now and only ran into one person.

 

People dont normally camp the NPCs lol

Yeah. Aether Extractor is available from the Pande General Merchant, but says I have exceeded my purchase limit, which I have not ever purchase any.

Any update on this?

 

I think the vendors still do not have any stock of aether extractors. It looks like they will at some point but right now it always says they have 0. I think in retail they would restock every so often and even then they would only have a limited number of items. There was also a limit as to how many each player could purchase per day.

I am sure this is on Carl's radar but I am also sure there are some bigger things he is working on. We will have to be patient.

 

I saw some people able to craft items that requires Magical Aether.

 

I actually want to ask the same question and it leads me to this thread, i did a research about magical aether and i found out that it can be gather in some instance i forgot about the name its hollow or something, i suppose its not available in gamezaion yet? i love cooking and alchemy more than pvp, so i hope we can get magical aether in some other way.

 

"Tacitus"(aether seller npc) is now in Sanctum but All Aether items are Sold out.!!! I keep an eye for that NPC for 24 hours and it never did restock. Is it working already or is it not yet implemented just like th aether extractor?

The vendors still never get stock of the aether extractors. I think they will put these in with a future update, hopefully sooner than later.

Anything new here? I don't understand where all the potions that need magical aether are coming from then?

 

wow !! Taboc Hallow is where u get Magical Aether and it is a 2.0 instance so unless this server implements into game or gets 2.0 you will not be able to gather it.

please GM fix the aether extractor. so we can buy them. i need magical aether

 

You aren't supposed to get them. It is 2.0 content.

 

this just is crazy and the server is only slightly 2.0 they are not even 50 % full 2.0 the npcs are not out the server has not bothered to make them functional.
