    It would be a bit unrealistic to implement 2.5 right now. We're still working on stabilizing the (relatively) new core we switched to, and as you stated, we're still in the process. 2.5 would undoubtedly bring about many more bugs, and it really would not be wise to update until we fix up 2.1 first.
