I don't want to make another QQ thread, more that I'm seeking encouragement for myself to keep playing. Since the new emulator was put in a couple of months ago, all my friends quit because pvp became restricted to just ing/gelk. Different glitches keep any attempt to fight rather annoying...

So my question goes to the people that still actively play, especially on lumiel. What keeps you going? How do you deal with a half broken server especially when there's no good pvp going?

Just log on, hang around, or duel each other.

 

well lately i noticed too there's not much pvp going around for the past 2 days, even in gelk asmo don't resist much...

well those damn campers never go away, i hate them.

 

yeah basically what ghost does just log on,hang around,duel others,and if theres some pvp go try it out

 

I joined ely side for a while and I noticed there's not much PvP going around in Lumiel specially..
Asmo side is somehow more funny and u'll find much more pvp than u could in ely side.

I don't know which legions do raid actually.. But I saw some raiding Abyss & Inggi.
Rifts rarely spawn, so there's no point or way to get to Heiron / Beluslan, which also makes it a lil boring (just for ely side since when rifts were working, Heiron was a living Zerg, I went there over 50 times and everytime someone attacked another player, he found himself surrounded by another 10 ).

Dunno really ~ Try moving to asmo side, or try to encourage some of your friends to raid Gelk or perhaps find an Open Rift to Belu (Pretty hard but not impossible)

 

usually when i'm in gelk, i usually notice, <Wipe Out>, <Semper fi>, <U mad>, <Dragons BR> legions raiding, most of the time i get to hitch hike in the raid.

well it's either Ely people got too lazy to go to gelk or Asmo having a holiday.

In my case, after the EMU update and let's say, ruined a little more the server, I and some legion-mates was more on PvE'ing since some instances work unlike before they weren't (though there were still some bugs). We felt excited to try them all out, as well report whatever is still bug on those instances as our simple cooperation for the fixation of the server. Also, that was the time when Gladiators' damage is so fcked up that can own a crowd with 2 aoe's. So we really didn't feel like PvP'ing.

Then some updates were made, fixed some fcked up stats but still not as fine as before but it motivated enough some people like me to join some friends PvP'ing. With the new emulator, I also started crafting my own scrolls and serums since now I can just buy Aethers I am just being patient until the day that the staffs can get rid off at least 70 percent of the bugs that popped up after the big update last month. And when that percentage is reached, for me I think this server is much better. Free Nestor Wings, working Abyssal Splinter instance to farm platinum and gold medals, Beshmundir Temple is as well working fine to have at least a great looking set for remodels and so on.

What keeps me going? Hope! This server for me is the best Private server I have ever played. And whatever the bugs we see around, there's still something good to mention. And lately, I've seen how the people in Inggison/Gelkmaros increase its number, Elyos and Asmodians. Meaning, some are going back to play and be active again as the staffs keep on fixing whatever they can.

I got chars on both side. if i do not find any pvp on asmo side, i go to ely or vice versa .

my advice = Join one of the more active pvp Ely Legions like WIPE OUT & There are some regulars in Frostbringer also...i see those guys raiding gelk alot.

 

Thing is, I also don't like gelk map. I never pvped on it before, and still don't like it now. I used to spend all my time in heiron/belu, and as you all know that doesn't happen anymore.

I guess I'll just keep voting and come back when they put 2.5 in...

 

As for Siel at least the PvE is more entertaining then the messed up PvP we currently have. On a PvP server you know that's bad.
