installing problem

Everytime I would reinstall/update the game. I would keep getting this error. I've tried reinstalling the game about 3-4 times now.

If anybody can't see the error. this is what i'm getting.

Error Code: 58 (FileGroupApplicationErrorRollbackNotAttempted):
Errors occurred while applying the patch,
and a rollback was not attempted.
The product is likely in an inconsistent state and should be repaired or reinstalled.
The patch application errors are as follows:
Error Code: 57 (ErrorRepairingTargetFile):
File could not be repaired: C:\Program Files\NCsoft\Aion\Objects\pc\lm\mesh\Mesh_Meshes_014.pak.

 

Instead of re-installing .. try repairing. Sometimes I get that too then I just click on repair and it fixed the problem.

 

still having the same problem. can i get any help from somebody?

 

try turning off all your firewalls and anti virus's during your aion download
sometimes an anti virus can see a download as a threat and damage some files while your downloading aion
or try disabling your user account control then rebooting then updating client

 

i've done that. Can i get some help? I didn't have this problem in the past..

 

i also encountered that problem..
but i did this...
download the effects folder here: http://forum.gameznetwork.com/showt...Downgrade-from-v2.5.x?highlight=downgrade+2.5
and place it in ur Cprgramfiles/ncsoft/aion
make a copy of ur old effects folder if necessary.
download the gamezaion luncher, and try to play.
if this solution did not work try to repair ur client:smile:...

 

to repair you need to upgrade

Make a backup of this file " C:\Program Files\NCsoft\Aion\Objects\pc\lm\mesh\Mesh_Meshes_0 14.pak" and then delete it.
Then repair/Install again...
