    it was really unexpected.. i mean REALLY unexpected.
    We all thought that Super 8 is a super sci-fi thriller like maybe war of the worlds type or cloverfield etc.....
    but it turned out to be a family movie (like a disney movie).

    are you familiar w/ the old movie Goonies? (Steven Spielberg)

    its more of a Goonies + E.T. movie mixed together. (both are speilberg)
    the movie was really for family (more like kids). it isnt bad, but if your the type of dude who expected a Mega ALIEN sci fi movie, then youll be disappointed.

    but if your open minded enough to adjust to what the movie is, then youll love it.
    its really quiet funny too... but its really kidstuff.. if u have a niece or a nephew or a child, then they'll enjoy super 8.

    id give it around 8/10 - story is nice, i wasnt bored at all.

    the trailer looks scary but nothing's clearly. so it's not my type of movie. if u said it's good, then i cant be bad :D but i will pass it or w8 for the DVD version (free ofc, lmao)
