Where to hunt

So I've made my Templar lvl 55 and now I need some average Plate set (and GS) to go with before I get the credits to trade for something better. I've spend some time killing Aether Defenders and similar stuff but the Elder Plate doesn't seem to drop. My question is, where can I hunt (solo) for some good items for Templar ?

 

Elder plate doesnt drop at all except for the pauldrons.
id try getting anuhart plate and tahabata first through Dark Poeta.
but apparently, dark poeta is bugged or something

for solo????? i think theres no solo mode on nice items, i mean like anuharts

 

The thing is, my current equip is pretty much stuff I found during leveling and the Pandemonium Plate set -.- . I need sth to begin with and after I'm at least a bit useful for a group I'll aim for better stuff...

 

Try to get a legion , then ask them for help.

 

What i did when i started was lvling up my Essencetapping/Aethertapping/Alchemy
I got tons of kinah by selling scrolls/potions. With the kinah , i bought some items which now are uhh.. overpriced -.- so u'll have to craft many scrolls/potions lol.

Now if u don't want to craft.. try going to Dark Poeta , you will surely find people there looking for a tank to keep the mobs in control (for Asmodians , Beluslan -> Hoarfrost Shelter. For Elyos Heiron but i don't remember the dp area's name , sry)

ps: Scrolls and potions are overpriced aswell so you won't really have a problem with that!

Any tips for training Essencetapping/Aethertapping ? Alchemy and similar stuff is easy - repeat work order till you lvl it up, but how do I lvl those two ? Do I have to gather 499 Aether Crystals and 499 plants/ores or is there some trick to it ?

 

The XP Gain Rate is too high so you won't need to search for high level plants and stuff.
Just get to 99 -> go to pandaemonium or sanctum and lvl to 100 at the essencetapping master -> go and find another plant -> lvl up to 199 -> again to sanctum or pandaemonium and make 200 -> find another plant -> lvl to 299.. bla bla bla
Same for aethertapping. (though my essencetapping got to 549 and my aethertapping is bugged for some reason and won't get above 499 >.<)

You won't have troubles lvling them up however.

The one that will be hard to lvl up will be the alchemy. (1 craft = 1 lvl up , u need to craft 549 items )
You'll have to get the materials (not hard but consumes some time)

ps: You can get 499 aether powders and 499 iron ores lol

 

In time when i was lvling aether and essence I've lvled it up in altagard/verteron to max lv,there was no difrence if you lvling on 1p/plant/aether or on 400p,lv up to 99 both skils than go to pande/sanctum upgrade to 100 and return in altagard and repeat all to 199 and so on and so on.Also check aion databse.com for info about all sources you need.Designs can be bought either in alchemy room npc or in abyss castle crafting npc's.
Gathering will take you couple of hours in this way and u will avoid long walks around or pvp zones.
Anyway i dunno is it still work this way.
