I was asked why I hate him so much, why EVERYONE hates him so much. At first, the first thought that flashed through my mind was how his team got lucky and beat the Bulls.

I then recalled the hour long ego driven "Decision" he made on National Television, basically saying he was giving up when times were tough and that he was going to, without even a half-cordial goodbye, leave to FORM a superteam in Miami.

It got worse, as he decided he would publicly lash out at all the haters by tweeting that he was going to remember every single hate message he got and everyone who sent it to him, threatening them.

He then, with Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade, paraded around as if they had already won the championship before the season even began, exclaiming that they would earn "not one, not two, not three..." but eight championships (sad thing is, they might not even earn one). MJ didn't do that, and he certainly did not talk before he had established himself (he then went on to talk a lot, but he had earned the right to). Lest we forget that during their five game slide and after a loss to Chicago, LeBron James and his team mates were caught crying in the United Center.

Now, at the center stage, where everything is placed on a pallet for LeBron James to earn, he has disappeared. He has played horrendously, completely disappearing from the 4th quarter and even full games. Jason Terry, the 6th man, is averaging 12 points in the 4th quarter. LeBron James has 11 total in 5 games.

Now that's understandable, he chokes every year, but he follows it up by mocking and imitating Dirk Nowitzki's flu like a child. Him and Dwayne Wade ridicule the guy who hours later has lit them up and destroyed their team. LeBron James then goes on to text some fellow players, "Hey, it's King James here." First off, the media didn't crown him the King, he crowned himself that. Second off, does MJ go around texting people "Hey, it's his Airness here"?

The sad thing is, fueled by Pippen's comparison of him to MJ, he consistently thinks he is God's gift to basketball. Rather than focusing on how horrible his game is, he decides to announce this http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ba...t=AiclV73N9w0EKQK.WhOcYdu8vLYF?urn=nba-wp4791

That's the mark of a TRUE champion, deciding to throw chalk into the air while being heavily criticized and facing elimination.

See, after my little outpour there, I came to realize something. LeBron James makes it easy to hate him, but he doesn't feed off it, he needs positive attention. The guy has alienated the majority of his fans and tainted his legacy. He's a laughing stock. My question is, how could even the bandwagon Heat fans like this guy? It's just not possible.

What that little stream of consciousness leads us to, though, is the real point of this thread. In honor of game 6, I need to post some hilarious jokes and maybe hear some in return ;P.

    JOKES

What is the difference between the Miami Heat and a bad chess player?
The bad chess player loses his queen at the beginning, the Miami Heat lose theirs near the end.

If you ask LeBron James for change of a dollar, why does he only give 75 cents in return? Because he doesn’t have a fourth quarter. (This one's from Damien Woody, two time SuperBowl winner).

Lebron is thinking of starting his own cell phone company. Rumor has it the roaming charges will be liberal but the phones will have no rings.

Why is LeBron James's favorite game Sonic the Hedgehog? Because in that game, LeBron James can finally earn as many rings as he'd like.

Future King William will not wear a ring so he has something in common with LeBron James - Kings without Rings

How come whenever people bash James, all I hear is about his "legacy"?

I don't think he's done anything to refer to his career as a legacy. Yeah, maybe he's tainted his reputation as a person and now a player by choking away his best shot at a ring, but legacy? He hasn't done anything to receive that kinda recognition in the NBA.

James didn't have terrible games throughout these Finals, with the exception of Game 4. The thing that's going to haunt him, I think for the rest of his career, is his inability to close games under pressure. As CakeBaker mentioned before, he just disappeared in the 4th quarters of these Finals. What James doesn't realize yet is this series might just end up shaping up the rest of his career.

I laughed when Pippen said LBJ is better than MJ. Obviously there's something between Pippen/MJ. What's funnier is James might end up as a better version of Pippen when his career is over. Sure looks like it doesn't it?

It's not that I don't like the guy. He's probably the greatest athlete in any sport right now, in terms of physicality. He's been a spectacle to watch in the NBA for the last 8 seasons now. The thing about James that kills it for me? His game hasn't changed at all since coming into the league, he's been relying too much on his physical gifts. He still doesn't have a jumper that you can rely on, he doesn't even have a post game (one huge reason why they lost to Dallas when 38 year old Jason Kidd was defending him), and the fact that he refuses to work on his game. All the great players in the league have, why doesn't this guy? If he even had a decent jumper, he wouldn't be in his position at this moment. National criticized for his lack of an attempt to win, hiding behind DWade and willingly playing Pippen to Wade's MJ.

If you look back at the Miami Heat's parade last July, it's hilarious.

lmao at the above post, Miami was choking so hard, they couldn't make more than half the free throws that the refs offered them on a silver plate. 33-18 discrepancy, yet Dallas won by 10. Maaan, LeBron James is getting FLAK.

Also, LOOOOL, did you guys hear what he tweeted? Basically, we have to eventually get back to our "sucky" lives and stop hating him eventually cause he gets to wake up in a mansion and do whatever he wants. oh hot damn, wonder where he plans on taking his talents this summer?

Not one, not two, not three, not four....not seven but 0 championships.

And that is why, boys and girls, you don't celebrate creating a whole dynasty before your first practice. Money doesn't buy you championships unfortunately.
