    Hello Gamez Community,

We all know that PvP has been rather limited to just one map (2 if you count abyss) and not that many players go out to PvP as often anymore. At least during the evenings, you can get some good PvP action in Inggison but there's just one lil' problem with that.

    The AP Kill/death Cap:

When you have killed or your party has killed the same player several times, you start to get 1 AP, which is good to prevent abusing but it's bad for PvPing, why? Because as soon as you start to gain 1 AP from most players, you don't really want to stick around and die to lose the AP you gained, eventually in 1 hour most people have already died enough times to only dish out 1 AP and although you can still PvP, it's not as fun an exciting, it takes off that edge to gain your AP to rank up

Considering that now you can farm AP from mobs in Inggison, I think the amount of kill/deaths before you get 1 AP should be increased a little more to motivate players to stick around a little longer on the limited PvP action we find in Inggison.

Stop participating in that zergfest by the Asmow owned fortress in Inggison then.

EDIT: sorry i just saw you said you're from lumiel what is written here is the fact for siel^^

Don't know if we can call this "pvp". That's called zergfest and nothing else ^^.

For the 1 AP/gain, let's go as Redcox said, it's to avoid the AP farm in between factions. Another reason, let's think like this, 90 elyos are hitting one asmo guy. Let's say he should give you 2k AP (if you would kill him alone) well 2k AP for 90 players = 22 AP..

I don't understand how players are able to stay over there for like 5 hours and hiding into npc's :( would be funny to see single party's walking around and killing the opponents instead of this constant zerg vs zerg ^^

a lot of gamez people prefer to be a warpig, aion is so vast there are other fun things than pvp, im just saying is all. but really i think the counter for 1ap/kill/death is just fine. The point I guess is to balance out the fight. Logically if u r earning less ap then fewer people will pvp against the losing race, so gives a chance to them to outnumber the winning race hence to balance pvp.

it's getting annoying really, if you go out on your own, like i do, and kill the same people/group the several times u start getting 1ap, but for course if you die you will loose more, even if they kill you over and over and over, they still get the same AP because of their group against 1 :(

i dont see any sense why they put cap when it doesn't make sense to AP FEED your other toon from other Race, unless you get a huge reward from being a 1 star general?

then you can buy abyss items by one race move to account warehouse then use to another...

    AP Feed? don't make sense
AP Cap still don't make more sense.

Last time I was playing Lumiel, it was practically impossible to get nerfed AP from killing a single player too much.
Of course I was PvPing in Gelk...not farming/zerging the same bunch in Inggison.
Maybe you should try going out to Gelk. Just sayin'.

yes your right, you'll prolly kill different people most of the time in gelk, but chances are you get zerged a lot, well in a good group you'll prolly kill about 5 people first before getting rolled by zergs, still a gain, loose 5k ap gain about 7k-10k per clash of zergs...

worst is you get -ap every run... good luck :)

    Lumiel that is.

I know what you are saying, but people in this server seems to favor pvp over other things (well, i say this because pve is basically broken here).

An interesting example - Asmos raid inggision and Elyos defends (Gaining ap). Asmos got tired of dieing and being zerged by Elyos in inggision, causing amos to leave. In the mean time, Elyos reached their 1 ap cap. Now, ask yourself, will Elyos raid gelk? The answer is probably not because why would they go to gelk and gain 1 ap? If the ap wasn't capped or the cap was harder to reach, Elyos would probably go to gelk and try to gain more ap (improving pvp - not necessary pvp balance of course, but I think it might be more fun this way). This is just a theory, it does not mean this actually happens

Unfortunately, there's not a lot of pvp going on in Lumiel due to the server population and other factors. I don't get the 1 ap cap a lot because pvp isn't motivating. Who knows what would happen if there was more pvp.

Also, I don't know why I said I what I said in my first post. I guess I remembered a time when gaining 1 ap made my race quit pvping.

The server population is so low in Lumiel to point where I see the same bunch.

You know gaining 1 AP per kill is based on time.
Run thru Silentra, you won't be gaining 1 AP from that guy anymore.

I like false accusations. It actually makes me feel special in a way.

Weird because I followed the asmos back to gelk and ended up gaining 1 ap again. That was long ago so i don't know now.

for now im not aware of lumiel pvp, but back then like 7 or 8months ago when i llast pvped and played it was very hard to pvp alone against ely/asmo. defending ur base is pretty much common sense, its an easy access to a fight than going travel onto thee opposite race's fortress. so iguess it differs at how asmo and elyos playyers play at certain times. and not by ur theory.

I meant, they left so I went to gelk (following them back to gelk). Also, theres not another guy if you killed all of them (theres not a lot of guys to kill in lumiel). And, I usually go for the tough dude with high rank to gain more ap. The low rank tends to not be "tough".
