1 AP Kill/Death Cap Increase

    this way of thinking is sometimes wrong I always go solo before to pvp an kill newbies/lowbies at eltnen and hope some tougher ranks would come and defend the fort, it works coz i go there at rank9, and get more ap if i can kill high ranks, earning more ap for the legion ^_^ that was fun times, i miss it much. i hate zerging enemies, and its pretty boring if u come with a zerg, coz my job is to heal and a lot of folks dunnu how to fight alongside w/ a cleric. U healing them and they r running away from it, as they r running away from dmg.

    I kinda like zerg vs zerg pvp. It feels kinda epic.

    idk if zerg to zerg is possible, i think u r very well mistaken. A zerg is a group of players outnumbering the opposite race, zergs in my understanding are dumb zombies aiming for the highest ranked enemy or one toon, killing instantly... if what u r trying to say are the group fights on the abyss cinematics/movies then thats not a zerg to zerg. It is more of a real warring scene..

    i don't pick people :( it shows red, i apply strategy that seems fit, why would you assume? of course cloth/leathers are weak so i go on them first cause maybe they nuke/aoe? right? sins got limited time to do its nuke, its part of a strategy, so if you defend teminon for an hour don't tell me you won't be getting to a point of 1 AP thing. unless its different people every run. you should try lumiel and see how they raid teminon.

    ps. you can't trust zerg - they have a 100% tendency that they won't die with you if your on the front line.

    Erm..yea i meant the big group vs big group. Weird, we just calls it Asmos Zerg vs Elyos Zerg when it comes to a big group of the two colliding.

    In all honesty, I like defending fortresses better, unless the offense group is really really big and you have one party or less defending, pretty much just leave the place or call more forces if possible, the commodity of not having to travel a long way to the opposing fortresses is a good thing.

    I would be seriously surprised is there were even 90 people on the entire server of Lumiel, let alone 90 people per faction.

    But nevertheless, this server needs something more... something that will "encourage" pvp. I know this is probably well above the skill level of the current dev, but bare with me. How about adding a special PvPvE zone (Like Aion was intended to be played with PvPvE) where the mobs drop some sort of valuable goodies that people will want to farm, and or PvP for... Sort of like the core used to be with Elder gear. And while I'm on that subject, bring back the fort raids like they used to be.. or atleast on Lumiel; We don't have the population of that server to take down a fort... Come on, theres hardly anyone even in the abyss anymore.

    Or... How about something like, every other day of the week make the AP rates 2x in Silentera Canyon... That way pvp is encouraged in new zones. Idk if anything like that could be done. But kind of boring PvPing in the same 2 locations.

    now pvp in this server is dead zzz i hope someday will be more fun i get 2 much 1 ap and the kill doesnt count what the hell....

    Lets hope that after the update to 2.5 more things are fixed and more changes (good changes for PvP) come along.

    We need more PvP action one way or the other, we need more encouragement for players. THEdroop's ideas are nice and they sounds like they could work, we need things incentive towards players.

    I proposed the 1 Kill cap increase because I noticed that most people would go away from the PvP zones as soon as they started to get 1 AP and that left a few players behind (Either a few asmos and a bunch of Elyos or the other way around) but it just hasn't been consistent and balanced PvP.

    I have to say that I was EXCITED when I went to Heiron yesterday and I found 2 Asmos lurking around. Although it was your average PvP it was good to have a 2v2 PvP match and not a 2vZerg match. It was good to have a chance of scenery, just pure PvP with no mobs chasing you and interrupting your PvP. I that moment I could care less for the 1-Kill count, I just wanted something different and I got it.

    I would like to encourage the Forum users whom I know have great PvP ideas, to post them on the Suggestion section. Devs and Mods read them in due time, they might like them or they might not but we need to contribute with as many ideas as we can to make Gamez a fun PvP server once again.

    Devs have a lot of work on their hands right now but when the time comes, if any of the ideas we pitch in can be put into place, they will do it, I'm sure of it.


    On a side note, hey Duffman, are you Anthony Weiner? lol jk

    And evilset said the AP required for ranks will get lowered.

    About AP/XP/DP all will be now analyzed on retail. Current formulas are wrong, even it pisses me off. So be patient this will be now high priority task. Today I just solved magical damage formula (so far no private server has it correct). :)
