Damage on Gamez is wrong. I don't have level 55 sorc on retail. And 43 level is good enough.

You can check knowledge from my pciture, you will see where I don't have any items wearing..

the formula is 3% higher than your result if we add base pvp def it might lower it.

    1) The Magic Damage Formula (from Theory and Eleinia)

    1. Damage = Base Spell Damage * ( Knowledge/100 + MBoost/1000 )

    OR

    2. Damage = Post-knowledge Tool-tip Damage *pvp_modifier* ( 1 + MBoost/(Knowledge*10) )

*note, sorc has a base knowledge of 120, sm has a base knowledge of 115, pvp_modifier without pvp gear is 0.5**

    2) The effect of elemental resistance e.g. fire resistance (from Theory)

Every 10 elemental (e.g. fire water wind etc) resistance you have lowers the damage you take from that element by 1%

*Note: Flame Fusion II lowers your targets fire resist by 150, eg increasing your fire dmg to that target by 15%**

    3) Magic Crit Info (From Ailsie)

The critical damage from a spell is 1.5x the normal damage of the spell

    4) Magic resist/accuracy info from Izii
    % chance to land a spell= (target magic resist-your magic acc)/10

NOTE: According to Menaace #4 is incorrect

    5) The effects of Knowledge, clarified by Eleinia

Knowledge increases spell damage by approximately 1% per point of knowledge over 100; this is already reflected in the tooltip damage provided. Additionally, the marginal effect of adding X points of magic boost for someone with 100+X knowledge will result in a 1% damage increase as well.

    More Knowledge=More Damage!
More Knowledge=More M.boost to get 1% dmg increase!

    6) The effects of Flight summary of discussion by Blazblue, Standard, Kayo

Flight, by changing knowledge values, increase damage in the air (for example sorcs knowledge changed from 120 to 130). This damage change is reflected in the tooltip damage. Additionally sorcs have a passive that increase their flight damage by 10% (Winged Magic).

So in flight, simply use damage formula 2 for all classes, and add in the flight modifier for sorcs; i.e.

    Damage = Post-knowledge Tool-tip Damage *pvp_modifier* ( 1 + MBoost/(Knowledge*10) )*1.1 (for sorcs only getting winged magic on the end)

thats what i found so far

I will make some calcs when i get home.

Small notice. Only using that chart, u need: 10.33x more MBoost to make 2x the average damage.

yeah they must have higher pvp modifier in retail than what we are having? i can't get results anywhere near your charts.

0.60 makes it close to your results.

Well personally making it negative actually can cause up to 28k shadowbursts (sorc, SM and sin trio, decreasing the enemy's fire resist to a maximum and finally shooting a 2.6k mb critting shadowburst). Though I like it more like this :p.

Ontopic: Someone explain me what the delta does and I'll try to help :\

MA and MR only gives you % of damage success - not affected by inflicted damage.
