well folks, as you know LSD is a name of a drug, which totally takes you to the other dimension, its not that harmful, non-addictive, the only cause it may bring is madness, you might go mad if you take LSD intensively. A lot famous people wrote their masterpieces after taking LSD so i really wanna know why its called a "drug" ?

 

I took LSD 8 years ago and it was the scariest weekend of my entire life. It made me quit drugs altogether. Just sayin'. Not every experience results in a masterpiece, though it does give very vivid hallucinations if you use those for an idea.

 

LSD is not that harmful?

Taking hallucinogens is pretty much a game of russian roulette.. You start out chasing bunnies in a field of sunflowers, and the next your trying to rip your skin off thinking you're an orange.

 

Many things are considered drugs, prescriptions are drugs, steroids can even be classified by some professionals as a drug due to its effects on the body, alcohol is a drug with widespread effects on the body as well.

However, in terms of illegal drugs there is widespread fallacies throughout the government and legal system. Such as still calling some drugs "Opiate" drugs from the ancient pharmacy act in 1869... which have been proven MANY years ago to not even be similar to opiate drugs.


edit: I could totally write a ****ing 100 page wall of death (text) on this + hallucinations and their imapcts on the brain and etc, as well as long term carcinogenic effects, etc... but QQ I MUST STUDY BORING STUFF

 

People don't know the real definition of the word "Drug", paracetamol is a drug, candy isn't tho, ibufen is, water isn't, coffee is.

a DRUG; is any substance that, when absorbed into the body of a living organism alters normal bodily function. that's it.

 

LSD is shit, and one of harfuls drugs. and all drugs is harful.

 

The closest thing i have been in a drug state was when i had Headache that literally made passout... So i was given an Opiate pain killer type... dont remember much, but everything was brighter, everything was heared like faraway... and dunno my brain had a sort of gamez type lag... somebody asked me a question and it tooked many several seconds... to react to the question and answer back... weird is all i can say about it.

Honestly though no matter if a drug allowed an "artist" to create a master piece, I cant stop thinking that he didnt have the talent by itself to do so without the help... maybe am wrong.

 

Some professions, especially those in the art industry, need unique inspirations that you can't find under normal conditions. Otherwise your work will just be second-rated, and if you're serious about art, you wouldn't want your work to be listed under the "normal" category.

As far as I know, artists use hallucinogens like LSD and weed because they need inspirations when they have an art block (which varies timewise.)

Even your boring face that you see daily can be the artwork of a century when you're hallucinated.

You guy's can't read or what?...where have i EVER said LSD isn't harmful, i've only states that not all drugs are bad, and its far from that actually.

I had someone try to explain to me why weed was "harmless" (arguing with stoners can actually be really funneh), but then he told me steroids were harmful. Logical fallacy much? x.x

Anyways, you'd have to be silly to think LSD was harmless, and you'd have to be silly to think you needed it for inspiration...

plenty of artists don't smoke weed or use LSD, and they are in fact just on par with those who do. So that's a BS lie. Next you'll be telling me it makes you better at swimming a la Michael Phelps or better at being a politician a la Obama. -.-
