Suggestion on the Donation Shop when 2.5 is up for Gamez

Please I would greatly appreciate it if you, that not all the costumes be made into donations please. That is one of the things that I would really look forward too when playing 2.5, and this also includes mounts if I remember correctly 2.5 has mounts? Can anyone confirm? If so they also shouldn't be donated.

If its powerful gears/weapons as donations, that I can agree with, however please allow the costumes to be available to players. It would be absolutely annoying to be seeing costumes running for 750 each $7.50 which is completely ludicrous considering how much it cost to simply get one single piece of ABG.

My point is, everything that is neat, fun and cool shouldn't be only available in donations otherwise it defeats the purpose for us playing 2.5, because we want to be able to have access to some of the neat things. I'm sure you would still be able to earn your money even if things like the "new costumes" were accessible to non-donators as well, because it doesn't benefit PvPing which is the main point of these high-rate servers.

Not to mention, the real money would be coming from buying the new better and more powerful gears. Again, please read this carefully and thoughtfully, and hopefully we get a reply from someone who actually has control of this.

Lastly make TWO donation shops, one for the lower rates, and one for higher rates please. Seeing things like Anuhart Sword for 1000 credits when I'm playing on Lumiel is absolutely laughable.

 

Nope won't happen and mounts are not in 2.5. If you vote now by times Gamez get costumes you'll have enough to get one.

 

I agree on the higher/lower rate individual shops, the current one is waaaaay too cluttered.

 

Everyone with costumes would make the costumes boring. Besides, it doesn't take long to get 500-750 credits through voting.

 

If your going to make costumes donation items (which is still lame imo) then at least drop the price for them. 750 for swimsuits at this moment is ridiculous for just an attire look. I would be far better if the costume was simply 500 credits then. 500 credits for an item would make far more sense because with 1000 credits you would have the ability to get two, considering 750 for one, and buying two, that's equivalent to one months worth of VIP which is too much. Make the cost for it feasible, and I believe 500 credits would be okay, not 750.

However forcing and making every new thing that's going to be fun in 2.5 simply through donations is a terrible idea as well. Just look to our current right now, we all know why things like BT and UT don't drop all of their items, its like playing a game that isn't even fully there. Virtually defeating the entire purpose of even trying to implement them in the first place. I would like to be able to do runs knowing that I'll get the full drop instead of knowing that they don't because more than half of them are donated earned only.

Also Two separate shops should be a mandatory, considering again some of the prices for the items at the shop makes your eyebrow raises simply because it coincides also with a lower-rate Aion server.

Can you list the 10 that are listed on the donation shop at the moment? I'm pretty sure Gamez will share similar traits, and since I don't have an account on Crystal I can't see. This would be informative and very appreciative on your part.

 

Far as I knew the clothing shops could give one access to things like the cloth-like dress and then the party outfits and stuff. o.o

Aside from that, some people have paid 10k just for remodel purposes :x

 

yeah XD i have to agree with Aegis even thou they dont affect the pvp type of server putting those costums in the shop makes more money cuz 1 they are going to be rare. Even if they don't affect pvp in anyaway it makes good money cuz people tend to buy rare remodels.

 

if it will be in the shop its not a "rare" remodel.
and its better to just make it so that stuff drop, let ppl farm and work for it.
since in 2.5 u buy the dresses from tokens u get in an instance it will still take u some time to get it. and they could probably just make it higher on gamez, seeing that alot of ppl are full ABG it would go fast to collect it.
i dont mind working or doing quest for stuff.. kinda whats so great to get to know the story behin aion and the factions.
i think like 95% of the server dont know much or anyting about story line so could be a good way to learn also and get rewarded.
ofc we need stuff in the shop to keep the server alive. but im sure carl already made a fortune of this and have for some years to go to run the server.

also we really need to get DP working like before so lower tier/level ppl can farm it and get better.
seeing how it is now. we are loosing everyone that joins almost.
no way they can get a full party going and make sure everyone have time to go full 2h+ runs just to get some weapon in the end.
make that for the higher instances instead so they can catch up to the veteran ppl.
they will still need to kill every boss to get their gear also. but its good to be able to choose what u want to go for wiout haveing to kill all bosses in DP.

 

You know o.o; mentioning the DP thing, I'd actually LOVE to be able to go in as myself (cleric) and heal noobies doing DP so they can get gear.

on topic: DP gears arent fully dropped? o well.. as evilset said on some new thread they're re-discussing on what gears thats should be dropped in-game & not~ lets just hoped for the best shall we

That's exactly what I'm trying to imply, that not all costumes in 2.5 can simply be bought, and that some will need quest/drops in order to be able to obtain them.

It's not like your going to shop and simply buying all of them. Because to me, what keeps the server going on a high-rate is simply not just end-game PvPing. I would like to be able to earn my costumes through the token means and such to get it. Not simply have it removed and sitting ideally at the Donation Shop because again it defeats the purpose of wanting to play 2.5 if all the neat items in the next installment can only be "Donation" obtained.

This just takes away from the players unless your willing to pay the money. Again, I can see if it's newer high-end PvP items, however if its costumes in which are obtained through tokens, work effort, simply leave it there as an incentive so that we don't have to pay money for them.

Majority of the new, neat and cool things showing up for 2.5 shouldn't be sitting at the "You must pay to have" shops.
