Is the pvp balanced or ill have to pay cash to get good gear ?

If i pick a mage will i have all the skills ?

in short is this server worth trying ?

 

- PvP can be balanced at times, other times it isn't.

- You don't have to pay cash to get good gear, you can vote for credits or you can trade with other players.

- No matter what class you choose, you will only have all skills depending on the server you play. Lumiel = Stigma System | Siel = No Stigma System AKA All Skills.

- Yes, the server is worth trying, we're going to 2.5 on Sunday and we're hoping that more improvements an challenges come along with the update.

 

Come to Crystal Aion instead, no downgrading needed.

I will disappoint you but this is a SUPPOSED-TO-BE PvP Server. Not a PvP Server. Most of the Players are on the Elyos side (for many reasons , such as "The GMs got Elyos characters , not Asmodians , they like Elyos more".) 7 out of 10 are Elyos.
PvP is only in Balaurea (Inggison/Silentera Canyon/Gelkmaros) and it's not 1v1 or something , it's group vs group or zerg vs zerg...
For solo , you need to make circles around The Core (Eye of Reshanta , Abyss) to find some newbie lvling up.
75 Percent of the people got ABG(pvp armor) or some other Armor set similiar to it , PvP is impossible for a newcomer.

To get good gear you need to Vote(www.gamezaion.com/?page=vote) or donate.
To get the best PvP Gear by Voting , you will need to vote once (5 votes each time) every 12 hours. Each Vote gives you 10 Credits , so 5 Votes every 12 hours = 50 Credits/12 Hours. 100 Every 24h.

Each Armor Piece costs 2,000 Credits. (You need 5 Pieces for a Complete Armor Set , so 10.000 Credits)
Each Accessory costs 1.000 Credits (You also need 5 Pieces , 5.000 Credits)
A Helmet costs 1.500 Credits
A Belt costs 1.500 Credits
Wings Cost 2.000 Credits
Weapons Cost 2.000 Credits (You need two for armfusion , so 4.000)
A Godstone Costs 1.000 Credits (Since you're going to roll a Sorcerer , you'll need Just one , so 1.000. An assassin who dual wields swords or daggers , would need two.)
100 Credits/Day from voting x 30 Days (1 month) = 3,000/Month
Helmet(1.5k)+Wings(2k)+Armor Set(10k)+Accessories(5k)+Belt(1.5k)+Godstone(1k)+Weapons(4k)=25k
25.000 Credits for a Full PvP Gear. Divide by 3k (credits you earn per month) , that makes 8.33333333333....
8 Months and 3 Days of Voting.

However , Most of the Skills work Normally ("Terrible Howl" [Templar] Pushes u Beneath the Floor and kills you from the Fall. "Agonizing Arrow" [Ranger] closes Your Wings while You're flying + prevents u from opening them for 1 Minute so you just keep falling till you die. "Fear" [Spiritmaster] causes Your character to walk around automatically , and you aren't able to stop. So you cannot Cast Non-Instant Spells or use Non-Instant Skills.)

Now You can Answer this Question by Yourself , is this Server worth trying?
I personally stopped playing in this Server , so I'd Suggest You ask the ones who still Play , they will know more.

ps: I heard We're getting the 2.5 Version Update this Sunday , it will (Supposedly/Hopefully) Fix a large amount of Bugs/Glitches. (And Will cause some others instead.. rofl)

I've played with both, Stigma System and Without it and PvP is more challenging and balanced with the Stigma System (Luimiel).
Without the Stigma System you could technically enjoy it more because of the amount of skills you have but rest assure that unless you have good gear to fend yourself, you will not last on PvP because of all the strong Stigma Skills the opposing player can unleash on you.

I'd suggest Lumiel for more Balanced PvP.
I'd suggest Siel for care-free PvP.

 

He's over exaggerating. Pvp isn't that bad and it's easy to solo due to the large amount of players. I however reccomend Crystal if you're starting out. Much less chaotic than Gamez Siel and less gear dependent than Lumiel. ;D

I forgot to mention. Every First week of a new Month , the Credits Earned by Voting are Doubled. Tho you won't be able to vote once every 12 hours , I'm sure of that. So it would still take about 7-8 Months to get your Gear.

Oh and , what i said Applies for Siel (The most "Crowded" Server which has around 300 Players online...)
The only reason this Server is worth trying , is the Unique Stigma System in my Opinion , Which Allows you to learn automatically every Normal Skill/Stigma Skill of your Class. No stigma Slots/Shards/Stones are required!

Lumiel has less Players , about 50-60 , not sure. And the Retail Stigma System is Implemented there. No All-Stigmas System. The rates however (XP/Quest/AP/Etc) are the same. You can see them at the main page. (www.gamezaion.com)
Now, if you prefer a Low-Rate Server , you can try out Crystal Aion which is Gamez's Lowrate Server and supports the 2.5 Client Version Currently.

They switched now from siel because of the bugs.. temporarily.
When lumiel has 124 , siel has 200.

Anyway , i agree with you about the Crystal Aion part , it's not so gear-dependent. I'd suggest he tries crystal.

Sometimes the search function shows me about 50-60 asmos online only in siel.. it's pathetic.

ps: what class would you solo a zerg with? seriously now...
do u even play in siel?
U can do 1v1 only with people who lvl up or farm items for crafting.. the "PvPers" never go alone.
And you can find those item collectors in inggison/gelkmaros only , so u'll have to pass through the silentera zerg (if there is one , i heard there are no more zergs because kisking now there was disabled)

Oh and the kinah rates are going to decrease in 2.5 , that means less pvp - more farming

EDIT: And he hasn't seen the begging yet.
And he doesn't know that most of the cool drops (Stormwing/Padmarashka/Sematariux/Mastarius/Veille/etc) cannot be taken from the game but only from donations/trades with other players/special credit stores(Easter , christmas , etc)

A lot of stuff not implimented will be so sw stuff will be available tommorow, sorry traders they arent rare so you better sell them while they still worth anything LOL.
