I have downloaded the game from a torrent to ensure that i got all the files necessary, since i have tried installing through the launcher numerous times...... Well now when i try to use the launcher it says there are write-protected files and would i like to overwrite them, well when i click yes i get an error saying that msvcr80 (files contains invalid data) 11FD error. Can anyone help me on this?

Assuming this is the file I think it is, then it's a .dll file that goes into the bin32 folder, i'm guessing you have a corrupt one from your download.
Use this one that I have just uplaoded instead:

Still didnt work.... im thinking that im getting corrupted files somehow but i have downloaded it from the launcher and i still get corrupted files and i have my antivirus off as well so i cant figure out why i either keep getting these files or why they are "write-protected".

Are you a full administator on your PC? If so right click the NCsoft folder or Aion folder or bin32 folder, then go to properties, then click on the Security tab, make sure it's alowing you acess to the file. Also might I ask, if this happening for both the official game, and our server?.

PSSs since you got it from a torrent... try reinstalling again in a diff folder from where you extracted the files to.
