Let the flaming begin!!!

Ok I'm 35 years old and I'm a clicking boob, that's correct I click my damn spells shamefully. I wanna learn to use keyboard but get overwhelmed on where and how to even start. Is there any of you pro gamers out there that can tell me basic way to get started and what skill should be in primary position and what primary keys even are. I play a temp and sorc and do very well at pvp by clicking but I just feel noob while doing it. Please some suggestions on how you guys got started and no worries I'm cool with the flaming, it's expected. All help will be much appreciated...

 

For me, I use both my mouse and my keyboard. You would like to use 1-4 or 1-5 for keyboard and use my mouse for 6-=. At least that's what I do and it helps sometimes. Just take it slow and you'll eventually get it. It's all about time and experience, then it'll become less overwhelming. Stick with a class and master it before going onto other classes :lol:

I do my attacks to the left side of the quickbar to keyboard and my buffs on the right side to click, and on the one quick bar at the right I put my items, return, DP skills. And floating bar has my scrolls, pots and all that. That's just me tho

When I play, I use:

Left hand - Keyboard
Right Hand- Mouse
My Johnson - I thumb through the Aion Hacker's Bible.

 

I do both, i have most of my skills on the bottom bar so i can use the keyboard, and click the chains with the mouse, if u really want to stay click though, roll a sorc, that way u only have to click 3 things to kill the enemy

 

use a combo of both i click the numbers 7890-= and my alt and ctrl bars and i use 12345 as a keyboard :O

btw don't worry <3 which ever way you play stick to it :3

i mostly play with keyboard , set everything easy for your hands so you can reach every but easy and you will learn how to play with it, but ofcourse i use my mouse to ..

I watch some YouTube videos on aion pvp and I never see anyone Click there skills. Let's take a Glad, they have a ton of combos and yet I never see anyone use a mouse. How the he'll do you guys do it? Alot of helpful info tho and I thank you all.

 

Clicking is when you really don't have any other alternative on skills, at least that's what I do.

i only use my mouse

 

My left hand is only used for moving and targeting with Tab.

My right hand is on Numeric keybad always when im fighting. and on mouse when im running away or moving (pressing the scroll button on the mouse to check behind me without turning or stoping)

 

Both hands on keyboard BUT when I know that there are incoming combos which arent on my quickbar I'm clicking it with my mouse.
