magic resist bugged?

im just curios is magic resist bugged now coz every stun and silence went right through even though i have 2.3k MR i mean its like 100% not being resisted

 

this has been reported before and was dismissed, if search box was working try searching for the keyword "fail" or "failed reports" something.

that should be evilset's investigation on reported bugged skills.

 

will it should be fix ASAP

whhat nothing to report.... bsh1t archers stun/silence/slow u non stop even with 2.4K+ magic resists if thats not bugg i dunno what is..

can't say where the problems is, but since evilset's report on Mres is working fine only way i can think of is the skill got too much macc added on it so it means that maybe the Skill is bugged and not Mres.

I have to agree that Magic Resistance isn't working correctly or other skills got to much magic acc. I tested with a ranger, i'm on 2178Magic Resist and the ranger on 1347 Magic acc, this means 2178-1347/10 = 83,1% of resisting the skill. But still he was possible to root / silence / stun me for 100%. Also mobs in BT hits me with magic, that i resisted befor 2.5 without any problems(back than i had only 1.9k MR) but now they hit me way more often even tho i have more MR. So yes MR really need a quick fix, else i see no future in playing cleric(another thing why PVP is still not balanced).

This is my own experience, so don't come complain if u don't agree on my statement.

Yeah its not totaly bugged .. only some skills ( effects are buged ) and yeah silence arrow should be resisted aswell as ambush ( from 2.1 was declared psihical skill with magical effect and the effect its calculated with the formula : macc vs mr )


@pipooh - yeah macc its a very important stat for a ranger ....

 

well wish i could link you evilset's testing on MR, which has screen shots, but all i can say is that Skills got way too much MAcc/Acc...

I also tested before Assassin vs Ranger, Assassin on full PVE evasion Set 3.4K evasion 3.9K on buffs, which ranger skills lands 100% of the time. but not the normal attack it misses once every 3 shots.

 

if that's the case then its bugged.

I haven't said that only magic resist is not working correctly, there's a chance that other skills got to much magic acc but than why they don't rely on 2.1 tables since back than Mr and Macc worked nearly perfectly...

But well why brainstorming about something where we got no auth to change a tiny bit. Hope time will solve this problem

agree, i've learned to live with whatever that's in game. hoping everything will get fixed.
