[Guide] Playing a sorcerer.

i thot it was good for duels.

Since imma noobie imma test both guides and see wich gets me more kills and come back w/ my results lol

100% of this server pvp is in air..and each one of your vs class has Aether Hold in the combo...which is only useable on ground...

wtf lol

Also. There isnt sorcerer guide. Only Sorcerer basics.
The COrrect Guide is each ones experience. And 1 month isnt called experience.

There isnt a standard way of PvPing. You must adept to each Class. and even deeper to each situation with each class.

Dueling is something "SET UP". Duel and PvP cant even be compared. Duel wont show a good player. PvP will.

pretty sure in aerial pvp is just matters who has more people; or who can sleep first.

 

lol. On air PvP You Can actually die. and as you said its more Vs 1. But here is the hint. Even if the enemy has more you can always win even without DP.

in pvp duel you have time to use your buffs but in PVP(Asmo vs Elyos) you dont have time for buffs you have to think fast , or if i diidnt saw you am i dead in PVP duel you have time thats its the difference(Atleast for me)

 

You don't know sh't - Every single combo you gave is completely f' d up.

In group PvP ( <= That's the ''real'' stuff - No lame ass ''I already know who will win '' duel's.) On ground, Or in the air, You'll completely fuck up your group because after 2-3 melee's , Oh guess what? I ARE HAVNINGZ NOE MANA'Z

I'm not taking this too far, I have been playing sorc since Chinease beta's, And for you to make such a shitty guide, Make's me wan't to spit on you.

You have no idea what so ever on how to play a sorc.
You try & make a guide, But you only have 1 month experience with a sorcer - I mean, WTF?

Some of the best sorcerer's have posted here, And from the one's I know - They say you're guide is crap, Make's me wonder - Who's right?
Choice °1 : The random guy with 1month experience
Choice °2 : The sorcerer's that have been playing since - ''Woha'' and can tell you every single spell & effect - and for most of them, what binding they have to that spell.


Hard choice there.

Sorzedyou's guide Isn't great, But god it's way better than your's - at least he has the basic's, You don't. That's why on his thread, Even though he was getting flammed - there was a discussion.

 

Sorcerer's are all made up of how the user play's...

In the end though the entire class wrap's around control. A sorcerer, no matter how much HP they stack (or even abyss armor) is still squishy.


To me there are multiple way's to go around playing a sorcerer but by no mean's can people can this up and say "tadah!" and give player's who've only played Aion a week->even one month even a fighting chance against anyone who's learned the class in depth.

I have to admit, this guide is refreshing... but the sorcerer class is just... very difficult to can up and say "do this -> this-> this cause everyone play's differently. (But in retrospect, a person who is a "master" of the class will use all different styles opposed to just one.)

I can definately appretiate the attempt and respect the effort, but I am with Framboise on this one.


Added: And by no mean's am I a master at this class either, I am still learning. Just stating that I don't think I am "proleetsauce" and judging cause of that... cause I'm still learning.

mresist for sorcs...and btw u cant resist stuns from sins anymore. Also, 1370 mresist is useless vs any other sorc/cleric/sm since they easily have that much m acc. and like said before, its useless vs sins. And like ur post on SMs illustrates, the guide is hardly a noteworthy accomplishment. you can't say that SMs>sorcs, thats horrible advice.

I am not saying your guide shouldn't be a guide, but I honestly think its not very good, and it might give a few new sorcs the wrong idea.
