High ping from Europe

Hi there

I've just joined this private server and i can see i have 280 ping while playing and it's really annoying..
I installed the game in "North America" in the NcSoft launcher as it is asked for this server.

My ping is completely normal when i'm not on the game

Is it just impossible to have better ping when you are playing from Europe ?

 

The "North America" Region in the NCSoft launcher has nothing to do with the ping. If i'm right , we use it because this server supports the american client (no clue what the diffirences are though)
The server is hosted from the united states so yeah , i guess you will be lagging a little , i got 250~350 too , it's not that bad at all I'm European too(Greek)

However , you could use some ping programs to reduce the latency such as battleping or fasterping.

 

I have 300-500ms but it seems fine ^_^

 

lol you crazy? 280 ms is perfectly good for europe... youll never get lower than 180~

 

Leatrix isn't working for me
I used that script or whatever it is.. it edits the hkey local machine components or w/e they're called , right?
well my ping remains the same lol.

Well, i come from a european private server where i had 30 as ping.. the difference seems huge when you play a sin

 

i have leatrix aswell im form the netherlands and my ping is 150-230 constant never higher

 

To be honest, I get pings of 580 at times and I play just fine. If you feel that your ping is too high (which isn't really) then you could try one of those ping minimizing services such as Battleping.
