Balance of magic resistance

ankle snare its a skill that can be resist with mr !

 

It can be resisted, its a magical affect. Prior to this everyone with high enough MR were able to resist Ankle Snare, unless of course for 2.5 Ankle Snare's properties were switched from magic to physical, then yes, you would be correct. However I've not heard of such a thing for retail, so AS should be resisted if your MR is high enough.

 

GM already said that MR is not working as it should be. THE SERVER IS NOT FINE AS IT IS TILL THERE'S A BUGGED,

 

You are so biased. If you use Mr's you'd understand why this is a big problem. I bet if they nerf your char, you'd be qqing. What you are is a sore loser, you don't like real pvp, real challenge, you like the easy way out, because you probably die to a naked cleric in pvp.

i perfectly agree with this thread. Why all rangers skills are not resisted especially i have like 2.6k mr.... and btw why sorc's damages too low atm? >,< shadowburst only ranges from 3-4k w/ magic boost and supplication focus... it doesnt even match the skill description. it should be more or less 5-6k xD.. and BTW, 3-4k is already crit >,<

 

I appreciate all the support. I have done tests on retail and Silence arrow can be resisted, but its not up to me to proof that, thats why we have DEV team to do so(i don't donate for noting). And for those saying MR is already OP, think again we have to give up all the manastones slots to get a chance to resist a skill while we are vulnerable on physical skills. Cleric already has low Macc(around 1.4k with ABG juwels) what makes Masta users already got 10%+ chance to resist our skills and our damage isn't even that high(we just have ~1.4k MBoost with ABG juwels). So for those saying cleric is OP maybe you are the one thats fighting them the wrong way.

truth, clerics fail every hit, the is not magical acc.

 

Yes, Silence arrow - Entangling shot - sleep arrow - etc can be resisted. But, only the effect can be resisted and not the actual damage.
