Cannot complete <Sealing the Abyss Gate>

On Crystal Aion my character has all campaign quests done up to <Sealing the Abyss Gate> in Verteron.
The quest says "Enter the Sealed Space via the Abyss Gate in Kraka's Den"

When I click on the abyss gate, nothing happens. (Character name is Maryjane)

One of my friends has completed this quest. I have two other characters who were not even able to flag this quest because previous quests glitched on me.

I know six other people who play on this server and all have campaign quests they cannot complete. Is it ok to contact a GM in-game to resolve some of these? If so, how do I go about contacting staff in-game?

 

You need to be in a party to enter the abyss gate.

 

Oooh. My friend who completed the quest didn't mention that to me. And it is not labeled [Group] . . . but I will try it! Thank you!

 

I couldnt complete this quest even when I was in group. I went through the gate and did what I was supposed to. When I was finished it said I hadnt done anything. pfft.

 

Be aware that some quests still arent functioning. o-o
But since your friend have done it then, i suggest trying the group thingy, otherwise it probably bugged at some point

I finished this quest today by joining a party before clicking on the gate. I was not in a party when I finished and cast Return rather than use the Abyss Gate to exit. When I got back to town I noticed my quest log had reverted to before I entered the gate . . .
So I rejoined a party, remained in the party while I finished the quest, and used the Abyss Gate to exit the instance. I was then able to cast Return and talk to Spatalos to complete the quest.
