Simple: Is it against the rules to "Port Out"during an event particularly an RvR? Why or why not? No Trolls No Homo.

well you should not stress yourself too much with what animate did, you will have plenty chance to get him next time. i know the sweet 100k AP would've been good but yeah better luck next time.

 

Nah its not about the ap much, it was because I got my race disqualified for not knowing the rules well. I have not found any meaning to why a player would join an event and would not accept defeat.

 

If you sign for an event, you should finish it. That showed only how serious he is. (Not)

no rules were bound to players stating they cannot exit while the event was on going. but they may have to revise it to avoid abuse, seil players complain about how elyos logs their asmo alts to join the fight then logs out to give asmodians an unfair fight. so this being another one, maybe they need to revise there rules.

i don't think animate would be humiliated more like having a good laugh right now for owning them elyos. ;p

To answer your question we currently do not have a rule against it, I personally would consider it grounds to forfeit any prize (even the loser's prize) at the very least.

But an AM should revise and tell the rules of RvR. Its a fun event and its not fun not having to kill every opposite faction who joined. Its like zerging already, since they are missing a few numbers. We outnumber them.

 

To answer to both of you: As far as I know there is no rule that allows or forbids porting. However, one AM can have a set of rules, which he has to state to both factions at the beginning of the event. If it was my event, I'd just not take him for the next 2 events he signs to, and yet there is no written rule about this.
