    Yeah u need vip but you can ask for it to be remodeled to any gear u want then trade it.

    Would this be considered an exploit?

    If I remodel a costume to a Type:Chain then I can only remodel it the second time to a Chain? Or do I have to remodel it first to another costume tradeable item like those sold in Pandae? The pink looking cloth one?

    You cannot remodel cloth, leather, chain, plate to costumes :)
    If you could everyone would be able to Plate remo to cloth etc etc

    No I mean I will remodel the costume first to an item that is tradeable but can be remodeled to anything like that cloth thing that is pink sold on pandaemonium? or do I remodel it to another costume that is tradeable?
