Except some classes aren't meant to kill. And then you have classes like glads just spamming aoe on noobs getting all the kills.

How about support classes? :( it will be fun for classes who are meant to kill but wut abt the clerics / chanters( I'm not saying that they can't kill) but they are meant more of supporting their group rather than getting all the kills.

you lose way more as you rank up.. 1st star is 8k 2 star is 13k maybe and 3 star is just a pain.

It hurts cause you care so much about your rank or buying items for AP. playing for the sake of rank is not so much fun at all. But yes rank is good. but please try to analyze what PVP is for! PVP for rank or item? or PVP for pure fun? And on topic, you lose AP when you die, you'll lose more AP if your at a higher rank that's the fact, and that's the fact that all of us must accept. You lose AP sir? me too, and so doe's everybody. so why complain??

it isnt caring about the ap. The fact is when your legion is pretty much full abg, and there is nothing you need when you have 10k of every abyss pot. And an absurdity of scrolls?

Atm im what 2 star? Losing I think 10k a death? Vip expired wooo I still gain decently but the loss out ways the gain totally.
Then again, the old ap system..general lost 72k on vip....That really isn't that bad when making 500-600k a day as NON-VIP.

Thing is, on the ap system before; AP Gain and Loss were actually somewhat balanced you could suffer a few deaths and then gain the ap back with just a few rank 1 up to like 3 star kills. This current system we have is broken. Ap gain does not justify vip, nor does the loss of it.

But, thats my two cents. I could care less if I lose ap or gain it, but I do like having a decent rank title.

I can understand where you are coming from, but AP is really, really easy to get here. I became a 4-star officer by PvPing alone, only participating in 3 "zergs" and grouping with someone else ONCE. Solo PvP is really the way to go, and the AP is fantastic.Though you can get away with it when you are lower ranking, when I hit 4-star, it's like I had a huge target on my back that said "EVERYONE WITHIN PROXIMITY KILL ME". Losing 28k AP is tough, especially since I haven't had a legion since I've started the game, so that puts me in a bind when trying to find people to help me against a 1v5+. Also, I don't know anyone who is a cleric and my buddy that just started a couple of days ago rolled a ranger, so yea....anyway, try solo PvP and the AP comes easy and it's more than enough to make up for any deaths you take.
