Purchased VIP, and I downloaded/moved the 2.5 Item.pak to my aion/data/item folder, but I still can't trade any normally non-tradeable items.

I downloaded the Item.pak at the bottom of the Get VIP/Premium Membership page, but I shall try the one in your signature and see how it goes

k, so I downloaded the 2.5 item.pak and downloaded the rar files / extracted the two xml files it gave me to the item folder, but still cant trade. I think there might be a problem with my account, cause my old VIP that I did have worked for a good few weeks, then stopped for I don't know what reason so I figured maybe re-purchasing VIP after that one expired would fix it, but it didn't so I dunno what to do.

VIP membership lasts for 30days. If u run Aion client and saw the items without the "Untradeable, Unstoreable in Account Warehouse, Unstoreable in Legion Warehouse" and ur client is working fine with it then thats the correct items.pak.

yes I know, but during the time it didnt work of those 30 days, my old VIP whenever I logged in, it said " Your account is VIP" but I couldn't trade non-tradeable items. I had all the other goodies to VIP like higher drop rate, more AP from killing elyos, more exp, its just the trading part is messed up

repair your client then go to data>usa>items
delete the item pack in there
after that download the 2.5 item pack and place it in data>usa>items

yes, completely sure. A friend suggested reinstalling the whole game, think that would help?

before you do that, Check ur cc.ini file in ur aion directory. If its cc = "1" then ur client uses the items.pak in the USA folder otherwise it may be using EU.

well, I think I've done everything I can. I did a complete reinstall and followed Uthi's instructions with the 2.5 item.pak and I still can't trade. I really don't think it is an error on my end as I believe my account may be corrupted somewhere so if theres anyone that can go into the database and look at my account, that'd be much appreciated.

EDIT: Finally got the thing to work! Thanks for all the help everyone :)
