I'd like to discuss this on here because I'm not aware it's a bug yet and I'm not posting it on the problem section for the same reason.

The attack response time during flight PvP is horrible for melee classes (I'm excluding gladiators because of their long-rage skills) I've been told by some Assassins that they also experience the same thing but I don't have an assassin so I can't speak for them.

When a Templar is chasing a character during Flight, the skills and normal attack do not respond fast enough for a Templar to land a hit even if you are 0-1ms from your enemy. The only way is if the enemy stays still for 1-2 seconds and it's only possible to land 1 or 2 hits, because as soon as the enemy begins to move, it's quite hard to hit while flying.

When a Templar uses Doom Lure and manages to pull the enemy, even tho' the enemy is right ON you, the skills still don't trigger fast enough to hit and this gives the enemy a chance to move away from you and as soon as they are 1ms+ away, we go back to square one with the attack response.

In other words, unless the enemy stays still for 2 seconds or more, a Templar can't do much.

The attack speed during this occurrences is 19% from the weapon + Attack Speed Scroll which should definitely allow a Templar to attack fast enough but it just doesn't happen that way. Imagine what is like without attack speed scrolls or a weapon with attack speed.

I'd like for someone with access to retail to check this and see if this delay exists for melee classes that way we can report it to evilset.

unfortunately it is like that in live... not AS delayed as here, but yeah, still delayed, if you doom lure, you have to overshoot your target and then start skills. Think they added Balaurea as a way to not have to rework the flight system.
