That must be Chuck Norris' Pee :3

Ok seriously hmm.. must be a texture problem lol , are you using the fixed fps option? i had a similar problem once and i found out that the fixed fps option was causing it :S

It's not causing any issues to you at all , is it? I mean issues like Lagging ur client or causing it to crash :S

its not really caused by fixed fps btw :p fixed fps autoadjusts ur graphics settings to keep ur fps relatively constant/high, the one doing this is the water effect setting alone. on perfect world it shows the best xD the 2 extremes r quite unique. one of them looks very realistic and transparent, the other is very animated colored water

Uhh okay *_* but does this happen only when you approach the water or look at it?
Or you mean your Computer lags when you play aion in general?
Make sure you aren't using the fixed fps option :p and make sure ur gfx card isn't overheated o.o my fps gets bugged sometimes when my gfx card is overheated and my fps drops to 9-10 -.- for a minute or two.

    I use 16 bit color system/no vertical synchonization/effects none/character detail low/auto aliasing 0
And from the "Advanced(>)" settings , i put everything on lowest(Textures , shader quality , etc) except the object view distance or the elyos will be invisible and by just looking at the name , you won't help urself xD Also check ur water effect setting (tho mine is on lowest and im not seeing any purple waters)

EDIT: Smartik i hate u :| u beat me to it. But still , if it was the water effect , it would reduce not increase his lag.. lol , it must be something else *-*

i meant for the color :p not the lagg. btw it would help if he told us his hardware. graphics cards can be tweaked in many ways (without overclocking) to boost performance
