Client needs to update

    hello i have recently come back to the server after a short break, i was playing before 2.5 came out and had no problems but now i cant seem to start the game up it says client needs to update using ncsoft launcher, i have already updated to 2.5 and its still not working, hoping anyone had a fix for it, i have also downloaded the new gamez aion installer aswell

    There are some on comming patches, try to fully update it.

    Can you give a little more detail on what your client is doing? When you launch the game does it auto close? or does it freeze at log in screen? are you able to log in and having problems there?

    it doesnt even start, or run the gamezaion launcher, just a window pops up saying need to update client and the sends me to ncsoft launcher webpage

    I had the same problem here, but i fix it.
    In my case, i had 2 folders with aions, and when i updated by NCsoft, the launcher update the wrong folder , just open NClauncher click on aion and check, right click and go into properties to see.
