hiyas all right i been pvp for the 4 days s8 now

range bug people r using it still

shenizawa was hit me from over 31 m and i know ranger can't not hit that far all skill's r 25m not 31 or 81 m and yes i have play all the job so i know the the system so ranger's only hit from 25 m only !!!!!!!!!!

and there was other one that hit me from over 81 m

all the pic show people range hacking and sorry to i am get very sick of it

and lose 13k ap each time and dieing is a pain in the a............

so plz look in to it this and sort it out

It's no range bug anymore, it's range hack... that has always been one of my concerns with rangers, many of them used the range bug as an excuse to use the range hack and now that the range bug has been "fixed", we're safe to assume they're hacking.

Just report them on the reports section and let a GM handle it.

 

Sniper Stance I - Aion Skill - aiondatabase.com They abusse that skill since is bugged, it should add 2.5M=>27.5m distance but is adding way more.

 

Actually ranger can hit over 25 meters without hacking because rangers have a range skill that increases range but your movement speed is decreased. Now i dont know if the range increase is 3meters or 5 but its somewhere around there.. So make sure before you post something. I wouldnt say that 31 meters is hack,since he might have pressed the skill when u were at 28 meters and you walked further when it landed on you. If it was 40 meters i would agree that its a hack. Just saying.

I get it, you are reporting range hack that needs to be dealt with now. But QQ for loosing 13k AP you serious? I loose 23k AP every time I Die and I don't QQ.

The ranger on the first picture doesn't have any skills to increase attack range, just look at the active skills he has. He only has Mau Form and Mau form doesn't increase attack range so anything over 25m without any skills that can increase it, it's not normal.

If you look at the chat, that ranger was hitting with normal attacks, not skills which then again makes it impossible to hit from over 25m without doing anything fishy.

 

When i start casting a spell with sorcerer from 25m, and the target moves away... like 27-28m that will not interrupt my casting. But if the target moves away from me for 29m or more than casting is interupted. This may be a bug but its hard not to abuse that.
Anyway, that ranger from 50m... lolZ XD

And I'll add, the new Geo Data implemented a few days ago is really messed up.
For example in Balaurea's castles people on the higher surface of the castle can attack those below, but those below can't harm the ones on top.
It gives an advantage to the castle's defenders and it's practically annoying that you get jumped and you can't do shit about it.
It should work both ways so developers need to look over it again I guess.

Not realy. I have been killed yesterday a lot. Just need to be in the good range. I can only attack or be attacked from 15-25m. If you come 2 close u cant attack (15m or below)

I remember prior to 2.5 a few months back when I used to play this game a lot more then I do now. Whenever you were on higher ground the skills of your range were significantly further. This was absolutely glaring when at Ingg at the usual "cliff" that I had Asmo Templars using IJ on me from well outside the maximum meter range, even for an extended GS (which none of them were even using anyhow), and even when I tried to pull them from the same distance I couldn't do it. I honestly thought they were hacking, however...

When we were at Belu to Asmo hunt and were up upon a cliff we were able to find a spot in which I was able to pull with IJ from a greater distance then what I normally would. The range was almost 30m I believe (The same as from the cliff at Ingg from other Asmo Temps that were doing it to me prior too), in contrast to an Extension GS which only allows a maximum range of 21m at the most.

As to if this still works, I have absolutely no clue, considering I haven't commited to playing PvP in Game for a few months now (I haven't set foot in Belu since April), so I don't know what the fixes would have brought.

Judging from the screenshots posted, this is clearly some bug exploit, or worst yet, an actual range hack exploit. The most glaring thing is that it wasn't skill activated (because if it was, then the option of it being a bug is possible), but just normal attacks which is extremely suspicious.

I'm also tired of Rangers shooting from well over 40+m and saying that its only a bug and thus walking free from it. I'm pretty sure I speak for everyone besides those whom are rangers that may be exploiting that that getting hit from over 50+ meters is ridiculous. Because if rangers are able to get away with this option then I minus will make a Ranger myself and start spamming from 50+ meters and state "it's just a bug".

Hopefully this is looked at by a moderator so they can take the proper action.

 

I do hate to inform you, 31 - 33m range is possible with Masta + Abg Bow.

Don't think that that is a bug or hack.

Bestial drops range to 15 meters but, that is still enhanced by the bow, so say maybe tops..... 18-20m?

Sniper Stance as well can be used to increase it, so with sniper + mast / abg? maybe 35-36.
Also don't forget skills have inherent range checks on them, auto attacks take the bows range itself.

far as i know fort walls are buggy ppl can hit u from 28 meters including sorcs yet u cant hit them cuz they too far and they go 1 step back and u cant hit them anymore i dun think thats gonna stay as a pvp place any longer.. too hard to kill any1 up there.
