Why should we choose you? : Like I said, I have a lot of experience with the Forums, I know what and what not to do. Also, I have a lot of experience with both Retail Aion and Gamez, so I'll be able to answer most of the questions referring to in-game related things.

Explain 1 Rule in Forums: "Abusing the Report post feature" is not only unnecessary but takes time away from GM's and mods from helping people in game and on the forums. Should not be spammed in order to attain a quicker response.

Why Should we Choose you?: I whould contribute alot to this comunity, help to maintain order in this forum, give tips, answer questions by players, and avoid the server of beeing controlled by either spammers or trolls, I was a GM awhile ago , I like forums and I think I would be a good choice .

Knowledge in Forums: I know many features of vbulletin forum system, besides being one of my favorites, I think is very easy to moderate threads, especially to avoid spam and users to respect it politely. It is very important to have patience and listen to the user.

Explain 1 Rule in Forums: No spam, reply to topics where you have a clear answer, no single answer to increase the post counter.
Post as "alala" or "jejej" are not accepted and will warn the user and if repeated can get to a suspension of the account.

Why Should we choose you?: I think I should choose me because I have experience in this type of systems do not need guides, I can create forums myself, I can moderate threads, help users, and grow gameznetwork experience.

I have 3 things that are hard to find:

a) Ability to do both manual and intellectual.

b) Ability to influence and work together.

c)Ability to generate new ideas.

Knowledge in Forums: I've been a forum admin/mod many many times, but I guess the most notable times would be that I've previously been a Super Mod and HGM for these forums, and I was hired almost an entire year ago by Pandion originally as a moderator before I ever became anything else. http://forum.gameznetwork.com/showthread.php/3756-Edixoid-s-Application
More recently than that, I hosted a vBulletin forum that was nearly an exact replica of the way Gamez is set up for my guild website when playing Rift. This was probably in late March/early April (I think!). I set it up with the help of a friend, so although I'll never need to set up a forum for Gamez, or go through the Admin CP, I guess its worth mentioning that I know how down to the last detail.

I could also answer the question a bit differently by addressing my knowledge of the Gamez forums themselves (not how to run them) by pointing out again that I've been around the Gamez forums since almost exactly a year ago and aside from a few quits, I've seen all that has happened, and I know all the names that have passed through the forums, all the regulars, the oldies, etc.. I even wrote the largest set of rules (you could call it "The Communist's Textbook" if you wish, but I was rather nice with them, just wanted to avoid loopholes.)
4. Explain 1 Rule in Forums:
I'm going to choose a simple one for this. Bumping threads (essentially posting things like "bump", "zzz", "need buyers!" in your thread to get it to the top of the Latest Posts list, while not adding anything constructive) isn't allowed in any section of the forums except for the Trade section, and it is only allowed once per 24 hours to not be disruptive to others.
5. Why Should we choose you?
I have great past experience, despite a few times I've trolled I've always had a calm attitude and proven myself trustworthy. I'm growing more mature every single day and learning from mistakes I've made in the past here, and if allowed I'd really enjoy making the forums cleaner with less infractions involved (ie: cleaning threads instead of infracting people as much, unless they truly deserve it) which could make the forum base a lot happier in general.

I would write more but getting seriously distracted by people on my ventrilo x_x and you guys would probably prefer I didn't write a wall anyway, so...there you go!

Knowledge in Forums: I know what shouldn't be done on the forums and have constantly seen people break the rules whenever they already know that they did something wrong.
Explain 1 Rule in Forums: 1). I already know that there is a limit to what type of imagery you use on the forums. 2.) If there is any vulgarness that happens like *Insulting another forum member or insulting a staff member and taking things way out of hand*. 3.)Of course no double posting is allowed.
Why should we choose you?: I'm always on the forums everyday all the time (always have the forum window open). I always see alot of reports going on and people asking questions that need alot of answers. I have helped people alot in the game and on the forums. I like to give people advice and I am very social, and I'm also very helpful. I have a great personality and would like to help make the community a better place by getting to know people and helping those that are in need.

3. Knowledge in Forums: I'm here since Jun 2010. I'm active , I enjoy to be on the forums , reading , posting... I arleady moderated other forums. Like perfect world forums and a FPS game forum aswell. I'm aware that trolls , flaming/spamming threads and QQ threads are completely useless. I'm also aware of the infractions/warning system , On the last forum I moderated , they had the same system. If the person isnt following the forums rules , I warn him first. If he keeps doing it , I will infract him. And we have the credit cards scammers and the ones posting porn. That's a thing we need to STOP. There are many and many bots , and that's just annoying as hell. Posting porn and credit card hacks. Basicly everything is a scam , we need to stop those threads , so our members wont fall on that scam.

4. Explain 1 Rule in Forums: Creating traiding threads on other sections without being on the market section , It's one of the current most unfollowed rule . Members post traiding threads on general discussion to enjoy the bump system. That's not the right thing to do. The rule is , Post every thread on the right section. So we can enjoy of a better forums without being a messed up forum.

5. Why Should we choose you? I have been a troll on the past , but I'm up to change my atitude , I apologize for my attitude on the past. I'm aware of gamezcommunity forum problems , the rules that aren't followed that much , the flamming threads, QQ threads , Everyday we have flamming and insulting threads that we need to close. Anyways that's pretty much it, I would do my job , that's why I'm appliying , because It looks interesting . ^^ I'm usually active like 4-8 Hours a day, School will start , but there's no problem 'bout that , Cuz I will be always active. Anyways I'm tired of being a troll , so even If I'm not getting choosen , I'm just chilling atm on forums , no stress. So basicly I will just keep following the rules . I'm active on the Gamez Network Community for more than one year and I'm well-known with the forum. I know the rules and the different sections and had enough time to collect experience in how Moderators act in different situations. I always noticed how Moderators talking to the people if they're breaking the rules and in my opinion it is an important point to act professionell and friendly but with a authority in it.

4. Explain 1 Rule in Forums:

If it isn't an off-topic thread, the posts should always make sense and be helpful for the community. Many people trying to increase their post count if they're writing irrelevant content in every thread which they can find. This isn't allowed and that's the reason why such posts will be deleted for spamming.

5. Why Should we choose you?

Like I already said am I more than one year in this community and I like to be a part of the community team to help this network as best as I can and with my full activity. This is the best community which I know and I would like to add my constructive part to it.

I've been a "Forum-er" for like 2 years now. I have participated in forums ranging from PG (like Gamez) to Mature-only. (would name those upon request) So I know the difference between what appropriate content is. I'm hoping to take a computer coding class to learn java, php, html so hopefully I could make a forum page and understand what goes on behind the coding that that Lautaro has to do. =)

5. Explain 1 Rule in Forums:

Posting "quality content" posts. Something that is relevant to the topic, or the community. Posts that are off-topic, trolling, harrassing, lacking of any substance can be deleted.

6. Why Should we choose you?

I moderated another forum for about three months by myself which consisted of 3 forum headers, and 3 subforums, which had a community of about 50 active forum-ers. I moderated the spanish section as well as all the English topics. I keep a cool head, I don't let anger/insecurity impede my judgement. I believe that everyone makes mistakes sometimes as a staff member, but it's important to accept, and learn from those mistakes, which is what I do.

5. Explain 1 Rule in Forums: Posting rule #1: Spamming the forums is prohibited. You will be warned if this activity is noted & you may be suspended if you don't stop.
This rule is because in the past a lot of the community posted unnecessary threads/posts and it has nearly always lead to more spam or flaming.
6. Why Should we choose you? I've been around since the tower shattered. I have no incentive to play in game but I do quite enjoy much of the community that is left from when I did play. I might as well be useful while I'm lurking.

I used to run a role playing forum called Infinite Haven, sadly all the people that were on there ended up going their own ways, doing school and what not, so I ended up closing the forum in 2006 due to having hardly no activity. It was one of the harder times for me when I lost many of my friends.

I also was a moderator at another role playing forum called Rising Sun Pride, A site based off of a pride in Feral Hearts, but the same thing happened where people ended up going their separate ways and the owners ended up shutting down the website.

5. Explain 1 Rule in Forums:
Spamming, it's an increasingly large problem on any forum you go on and makes for disruption, rageing, annoyances, and overall lessens the experience of a website. Sadly to say Spamming is big on any website and needs to be taken seriously.

Spamming can include multiple things. Over usage of capitalized letters, posting advertisements for products also known as ad bots, spamming random letters in one post, multi-posting useless or non useless things, spamming irrelevant pictures, or just plain well spamming. The only place spam should ever be allowed is in the Hot Spam.

Spamming is something that needs to be taken seriously by any moderator and dealt with in the correct ways weather it be issuing a warning or a ban to help increase the enjoyment of everyone and keep the forums a fun, spam free environment for all.

6. Why Should we choose you?
For me, it's all about making an enjoyable environment for people to relax in and talk to their friends. My one big thing is I will not use the power I obtain in ways to give myself personal gain. In all honesty I would rather not have to ban, or warn people. Though at the same time the job needs to be taken seriously.

People might say my one weakness is that i'm to nice. Inside i'm a shy kind person and I hate making others feel bad, but at the same time I treat people with respect, and if one person disrespects me then they will not get any respect back.

It's not forums but I was president of the Anime Club my senior year of high school. I came up with a few different contest,did a manga drive, and even got t-shirts for the entire club. I had planned a trip to japan but the school wouldn't allow us to go through with the plans. So I do have leadership skills.

I am also getting my VIP, don't know if that maters but I thought I would post it.

Also many of my friends will say that I am loyal. I like to listen to what other people have to say and am always trying to help people. I also take any job I get seriously, no matter what it is. If I did get a moderator position I would take the job as seriously as any other mod for any other website.

I am also active. I try to get on at least once a day for a few hours. Much of my time is spent online talking to people, and I plan to continue that trend if I get the position or not.

If you decide to give me the position you will gain a loyal trustworthy person who will listen and try to do things to the best of her abilities.

Thought I wont be doing this but I changed my mind. I realized that I have nothing to lose passing my application so here it is

Knowledge in Forum: I am very confident to say that I am knowledgeable when it comes on the forum functions available for normal forum members (does this even matter? I wonder. Eh, well...). I know very well the Forum Rules being applied in this community and my infractions can prove that true - IF there is any - NOT that I am boasting (for 2 years of being a member of this community, I have kept my records clean).

I honestly never had any experiences using vBulletin's ModCP although I had experiences of becoming a Moderator in some other communities in the past, even on our very own forum (they/we don't use vBulletin as host). But I believe that I can learn everything through hard work.

Explain 1 Rule in Forum:

Gamez Community has a set of rules being implemented and they expect each and everyone to follow them. I always believed that following means respecting so following the rules of the community means respecting the server, the rules, the community itself and its authority. Rules and Regulations are made to maintain peace and order in the community. And those who break them are punished depending on how grave the offense is.

If there is a need to contact a specific person, use the Private Message function. Any sorts of problems or misunderstandings can always be settled privately so there is never a need to make public threads, causing some drama and involving people that has nothing to do with the issue at hand. The server do not tolerate threads that is made with the intent to annoy, flame, insult, defame, complot, etc. other members or any members of the staffs.

Power posting isn't allowed so refrain from double, worse, triple posting in a thread. We have our most handy, "Edit Post" button function ("" this button that we can see on the bottom middle side of our post) that allows us to edit our previous post in case we want to add or change something on that particular post.

Posting nonsensical/off-topic posts as a response to a thread that has an on-going discussion and that is not in the Hot Spam section is considered a SPAM. Posting racial remarks, insults, flames, etc. is inappropriate and posts such as these will be deleted and the user will be infracted. Keep the quality of your post and always stay on-topic and civil.

Why should we choose you?

Activity wise, I can say I am very active. Since my job requires the usage of PC, whenever I can or when I am on break I just browse the internet and that includes the forum. If not being knowledgeable enough about how to use the ModCP can be a problem, I assure you that I learn fast specially when I put my mind and full attention to a certain task.

I always know my position. I may voice out some things that I think needed to be brought to attention but I always do it in a way that I do not offend other people. I accept NO's and I embrace heavy lecturing whenever I make inevitable mistakes because I learn a lot from them.

I am creative. No wonder why some people who see my abilities and works copy them (this may sound arrogant but I speak from experiences). I have plenty of things to offer for the community and that includes my creativity on making events.
