sorry but lumiel isn't that crowded and crystal is low rate server and for a low rate server I just stay on retail.

 

Havent been in siel but its pretty crowded, even if so you dont need it to be crowded because the same idiotic people will look for you after you ragequit a map, you go inggi kill 4 or 5, zerg goes for you, if you change map, kill 2 or 3 the SAME zerg will go for you LOL. And I said crystal for CHAR transfer, youd be already 55 and geared but i guess it would imbalance the server, oh well isnt it dead anyway? i also said OR just add a 3rd server

 

no lulz crystal no population and is bad administrated, no one cares about crystal rofl. Didn't you know crystal is a test server?
lumiel's population seems fine and is a stigma system server so its pretty balanced.

 

yeah i knew that crystal was used to test but then since its deserted i think "wait how do they test it of theres like only 3 people to test with rofl" anyway, zergs in lumiel are also everywhere so its pretty disappointing

 

Actually Lumiel's population is low for the vast maps of PvP. It's just that mostly players in our server consider Pvping along with zergs than others that is why we feel like we already have a lot of players. But I still stand to my discussion thread. An evaluation of what and who shall be transferred is a must. For example players like Sauuuron are publicly and self-admitted solo player, thus he will not be an addition to zerging. He passes the evaluation and gets transferred.

 

Gawd the biggest zerg I've been part of is a 3 man group, Me (SM) Tupesadilla (Sorc) and Gabiii (Glad) thats it lol.

have you noticed that when you are in a group bigger than 3 you can't fill your DP skill bar after killing someone??

Got about 140 people on crystal at the moment.

But yea, it is like "foreveralone.jpg" here.
Other then that, it's really the only server where you can get SOME sort of small pvp, but it tends to get "zergy" over here too.

 

1- Never go to pvp with generals or above cuz they are the first ones who run away and let you die. (that's even more annoying than get killed by 50 rank9 noobs)

2- 99% of the high ranks earn their AP by zerging. (shame)

3- The only place to find "fair" fight is maybe reshanta, but mainly rangers pvp there (as a sorc i hate them ^^)

4- Nothing will change so just go with it

 

Here is the deal
- Join a party of mine (made of 6 people)
- We gather up in Gelkmaros
- We push back 20-30 asmos with a group of 6
- They run back to the fortress after dieing like 3 times
- They gather up & zerg us with 50
- They keep spamming "Noob" and "huehuehue" after they win
- Yet you feel better since you raped the shit out of them

 

I experienced that raiding with a <Merciless> Group.

For the longest time I've stared at the highest ranks in-game and gone "who the hell is that guy, never seen him/her before?" and realise it's hard to get to know a guy when you never see them in the middle of huge zergs.

I can't claim that I don't take part in zergs, since I do on occasion. But more fun going around with 3-6 people at most. Unfortunately, kill a few guys (before any1 goes "you kill 1 vs 3-6, you noobz0r!!!1!eleven!!", if we see 1 guy, usually we throw on skype "you wanna 1vs1 this guy?" and stay behind) and suddenly the army is on you.

Or how about the one time I nearly ran from one corner of Iggnison to another, dragging a zerg behind me. Fun times -.- pvp really has lost it's fun these days, it used to be better in ye olde days (less people, but really buggy skills and all xD).

and how would a person proove that they are solo - small group pvp'er? I'm not dissing your idea, I do like it, just curious about details. Video? How many guys would just record a video where they solo pvp, for 5 minutes? And are people automatically banned for char transfer if they have taken part in zerg once? xD

 

Threads like this certainly are amusing to read.

Zerg mentality is simply part of the course when it comes to RvR gaming, people like the safety that comes with numbers and groups (intentionally or not) usually end up going to the same places effectively merging into a clump.

If you don't like it I'd like to hear where this magical silver bullet is to fix the issue. Especially those of you more dramatically inclined towards making demands in this thread, "Gamez will die if this isn't dealt with!" FYI Gamez was going to die to zergs about a year ago too. Zombies? Honestly now...

You could always consider rolling to Lumiel, less zergs there so you can have all the skilled PvP you like. Hell you even get stigmas! I hear those are the bee's knees for those who like to wear the "elite" tag.

(Btw I got 900k AP from solo PvP last night in core on Siel in about an hour and a half before going to bed ;o Learn to bait people! )
