Just wanted to report a...bug?

it's about sorcers' dps.
well, i played a lot with sorcers today and i wondered why they took more kills than they usually do...

i have the answer now.:tongue:
ice shard= 5K
flamme spray=6k

LOLILOL gamez aion. well, i use a french client but you can decently find the logs on purple.

is there a real problem with sorcers' dps or i just made this thread to hear "oh no it's ok", "rangers are more op with mau form",
"i played on retail and sorcers hit 18593393k dmg since the 2.5 so it's normal"...
well, sentences usually said by gamez aion's noobs on this forum? inched:

I know sorcers have huge dps...but do you think beeing 2 shoted by them (without dp skills) is normal on aion 2.5?

i personally dont mind the sorcs dmg im a ranger as well and im on siel so its a bit worst for us since sorcs have both their stigma trees xP

sorcs are very squishy so in exchange for that squishiness=uber dmg

 

that's a long phrase. me don't like it

 

I can not say that such damage is normal. Of course if we talk about How Gamez do it, imbalance is still on the very first page. If it's OP on retail, how can we even make it balance here if they actually want Gamez to be retail-like??

But as what Downfall said, Sorcerers' defense is really weak. And this is how it simply go when you're facing a Sorcerer (for sure you're a ranger); When the Sorcerer first cast its skills, you're dead. If you're the first one, it's dead.

 

Stop complaining and start leaving the game, or u cant leave? 2 things simple.


1. best dps -with wintry tree & best straight in the face dmg glacial tree.

2. weakest defends.


But alright let me not flame this thread, if players stopped complaing about skill and this and that, the bad designers of gamezaion made it worse, messing around with retail like skill stats and cd's and etc, these guy's here at gamezaion neeed to stop listening to these newbe's and start to learn how to play there class, because ill be honest i love my sorc cuz of uber dmg and at the same time i can die normaly and not tank 10 players, they need to leave all skills as it is on retail , stop listening to loser wich makes every class unbalanced now and dull, these asian are realy Fkng smart they wont make a noob unbalanced game, the retail is balanced as it is, we should play with the same skill stats as they use.

if i stated some wierd complains and bad grammar , sorry it's 4.40 in the morning here and my english isnt as good as a guy from harvard.

Yup there is something wrong with sorcerers definitely. I guess official AION devs ****ed up with that class in the first place,it has low defense,so they gave it a buttload of defensive buffs stuns roots sleeps mehs and of course a crazy dmg. And in gamez aion its even worse because its full stigma server. In short sorc is overpowered no matter what,if it gets nerfed people will start crying just like last month. This would be my suggestion,make the sorc main nukes hit 3k dmg,not more not less. Its just hilarious dying by 2 hits.. I understand your point thread starter,for now just make a sorc and enjoy it. Thats what i did,i pawn abgs using anuhart sorc.

 

Aint rangers meant to be a glass cannon as well (well unless slotted for MR then they have half a chance) Im a ranger, i resist most sorcs attacks, except from the 4x Shadow burst i took 3nights ago (which was hillarious) Sorc are no issue tbh, glads on the other hand well they hurt more than sorcs now for me, but nah i'll try to kill most (except from temps, they are just a waste of time to fight unless they are they are not geared well, then they are easy as a good gear sorc. Im sure smt will change eventually, but at the moment light/shadowbursting is the roflcopter of the game

and yes the Teletubbies are OP - fact

 

Sorcs have very low DPS, instead they have high burst dmg.
That's 2 different things, learn what DPS means.

Sin DPS > all

on topic: Their crits are nasty, but I guess that's the whole point of the sorcerer class: low def, high burst (after casting).

 

it sucks really, but what can we do... anyway, that's why i hate zerg clashes, uncontrollably messy. you don't know who's targeting who.
