Ranger Critical

Just wanna check if i have a ranger and the critical is 550 which is the max on this server what if i use buff and reach 700 does the extra 150 critical count or no effect?

 

from what i understand its diminishing returns... meaning going over has a lower effect per point.

 

I got over 9000

 

think tats waaayyy to much. lol -.-

 

Example

550 critical deal - 2k dmg
560 critical deal - 1.9k dmg
700 Critical - 1.5k?


so is best to stay near the 550 cap is that rite?

 

actually the cap is 440

until 440 crit you get 1% chances for every 10 critical strike
after 440 you get 1% chances for every 20 critical strike

This was great in 1.5.

Now that 1.9 is out, enchants on your armor and some pieces of gear contain 'Strike Resist' The amount of Strike Resist you have is the amount of crit you lower on your opponent, This means your better off critting passed the soft cap now as fighting someone geared will still leave you with reasonable crit.

 

if you already have the max crit rate what manastone should put next for ranger HP or ATK???
