Server feedback?

Hello there, I hope I'm not the only one that would actually feel good if some information about the server status were given.

So below I'm going to name some stuff I'd like to know, I don't know about the rest of the community.

• Server software updates:
  
  The server had some, a couple of days ago, but I really haven't noticed any change on my ping nor to the daily server lag spikes. Some info clarifying what's wrong with the server getting lag spikes daily would be enough.
  
  
• Events:
  
  Well the amount of events is rather pleasing and I guess Karissa is the one who's giving out how many will be done per day so I'm cool with that.
  But there's still an issue there, is there really a point of making an event with 100v100 or 50v50 or you name it and half of the participants being low levels or either Asmodians or Elyos to be outnumbered while it's supposed to be an equal PvP event? Some info would also be great on that.
  
  
• AM Status
  
  Quite pleased with the AM Status, but I'd like to know if the AMs ( I won't be giving out names ) actually give out valid answers.
  A small example.
  
  "-This guy sells like 300 Godstones could you check it please?"
  "-He's been farming a lot."
  
  
• Developer Status
  
  Well lately this is the only interesting thing done, being that we were actually given what we asked for or we will be given due to a to-do list, happy with the Developer status, keep it up.
  
  
  
• Staff information
  
  I guess the community would be happy if there were information of who's joining/rejoining/leaving the staff at all times and not going LOLWUT? When the drama threads pop-up here.
  We're a community after all, we deserve to know some stuff.

big delays
pls more pvp events. the best is to make 2 at 1 time that more player have a chance to be in the event

 

LOL I could post the severe critical feedback this server desperately needs, but I'm deciding against it . Ignorance is bliss people and I'm blissful. I don't know your secrets or the truth. Don't ban me pls o0

 

Just a word from an ex-GM from other games and servers. Everything you say can count as any game as well. Especially with events, staff information (drama) and lag spikes.

For events, it seems as though there is not enough thought into it, which means the recruited GMs aren't putting enough work into their effort as they put in their application. Some are doing great, but some are lacking tremendously and that needs a great change.

Staff information, I know that Gamez act professionally to a lot of issues, but for example: some just don't get it and fill out an application just for abusive authority and then the results are?. (Not saying anyone is abusing). And the best way to clean things out is to just close/delete & ban and there will be no drama, but don't overdo it because it can lead to the community's worst popularity. Just remember to act professionally as a staff member of Gamez should. (Yes, all of you are, but just a reminder).

About lag spikes. It does get quite annoying and it is usually the hoster's fault or the server isn't good enough to handle the vast amount of people here. It cost a lot of money to even set up one and keep one running which most of you can't even afford here, so if you can, don't say like vote reward points is too little, why don't you donate so the server can expand and improve more instead?

 

I agree with you mate, but still an answer from the Staff would be great, assumptions can be made, some might be faulty some might be correct that's why I actually wanted to create this topic.


And by the way Mozes, got no problem with the warning you gave me, just bumped my post since noone from the staff actually bothered to view it, well besides you of course. :whistling:

 

yawnz... didn't want to create a new thread again... but the server is lagging badly yet again.. somehow it always happens this timing...

server crashing soon again? or need another restart?

ya know why ? with 1 hosting, they hosted , gamezaion, crystalaion,gamez WoW and GamezMU .

just imagine if they hosted only for gamezaion , would you lag that much D:?

we should gather up all the donors to get their moola back D:< because, we all donated for aion alone and not those Wow or other stuff

well i hope they tend to focus on 1 game first and make sure that its stable before deciding to host a new one.
