I ran the 5450 before, about 40FPS, regular aion GFX engine with everyone about 2 below max.
You prob won't be complaining with a 5670.

    Whats your old card?

I'm running the 6770 atm. You can probably find xfire vids of me playing if you search for Deadlychants on xfire.com
I can run 50-70 FPS my pings at 90(though I don't think graphics affect this) On the regular GFX aion engine I can run everything full. on the 2.5 engine I can run everything 1 below max without lagging, if everything is maxxed I lag a bit in big zergs.

I'd reccomend mine if you can afford it.

I have a 6770 and I play at max (HQ mode) with a minimum of 60 FPS. Also can multi client without lag. I think your CPU/Ram matters a bit also (I7 2630QM, 8 gb ram)

I have an HD 5670 1GB DDR3, I lag when there is too much people around. I don't even put my graphics at MAX.

    i am running 5670

    5 - Radeon Series
    670 - Chip Series

Radeon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

if you look at it this way,

4800 series can beat the crap out of 5600 series.

so yes 5670 is a mainstream category and can run aion just fine.

but hey. don't let you hopes down on the HD 5670. If you buy the DDR5 instead of the DDR3, you'll get way better performance than me. DDR5 is a complete new design which lets your pc get the most of your card. Also, I lag because I play 1900X1080 lol. So, YOU might not lag at all with the DDR5 1GB card and a lower resolution. DONT LET YOUR HOPE DOWN.

It's a nice card for decent price. IT CAN RUN CRYSIS ON MAX 20 FPS!

Like somebody else said, if you don't want to lag in the zerg, cpu and ram is more important.

Shift + F12 will take care of that nicely. But I agree, the more RAM and faster CPU you have, the better off you are.

Yea but most commercial computer monitors are at 60hz/fps.
But if you ask me, as long as you can get 30 fps in zergs, you will be fine.

You could also put in alittle bit more for a mainstream GPU like the GTX 560 Ti/Radeon HD 6950, instead of the entry level 5670.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, If your set on buying the 5670, buy the 6670 instead. Same price and better performance.

Never buy a older generation if the new one is out, prices will always be either the same or cheaper for better performance.
