Can't add more. I guess they already said everything.

My Sorcerer is using EGT set for full MACC, while MCP for full HP, and ABG set for full MR. As for the weapons I have a tome which is full MACC, another tome which is full MR and an orb with full MB and the other is MACC. I just mix match depending on the situation and opponent

Mhm, I usually pop Iron Skin nowadays when I see a sorc D:. It was good, since I got 4x 6k damage xD.

Btw Tritium, full HP on a sorc works really well against a lot of classes. In e50 I'll be 4/5 parts HP. Saying sorcs don't need HP is proof you have no idea what the hell you are talking about. Maybe let people who have actually played sorc longer than two weeks give out the advice.


The bigger question is what stigma's should you use, which is very dependant on your playstyle. Both full trees are pretty bad, though. Either go Flame spray with Illusion or Sleeping storm with Arcane thunderbolt imo.

how the hell can I argue with someone suggesting a "flame spray build" for sorcers? gosh...
Maybe it's funny for you guys too give a wrong advice, but well, now plz be serious, i really want to help ppl...

About the "full hp":
This would be a good build but sorcers don't really need hp (10k hp on abg is enough),
and MR/MA build is a way better as you would resist
to most of stuns/traps/silence/sleep.
And if you use Elemental ward you will get enough mr to resist to most of magic skills
(except sorcers using supplication of focus, and full MA sms, of course)...

In the end i would say there is not only "One Build", and everyone has his own style.
But the build i suggested you, is actually the most appropriated to play on gamez aion.
And ppl shouldn't forget we play on gamez aion, not on retail...

You are wrong. I don't care if we play in Gamezaion or whatever, you're wrong. The build you suggested is a group build. It's not a bad build and I know a top Sorc who used it, but it's not necessary if you don't run Dg or play on a server that doesn't have over 9000 elyos in every possible location, especially with how easy it is to get multiple sets.

You realise that the Flame spray build I talked about is used by something like 80% of sorcs on KAion, right? It works very very well. It's for an aggressive playstyle. Tell me what's bad about it? I don't favour it personally, but I know some really good players who do.

The second build gives Arcane which is probably the most important skill a sorc has, while still allowing control. Removing that for 300 MR or 1000 macc for 20 secs is just stupid if you have multiple sets.


Have you ever tried to use Whirlwind? I have and that stigma is terrible. It is useless against almost every single class because of the range it has, and the fact it is area around the player. Plate classes have UD, and every other class plays at range except sins, who are not a problem anyway. Exchange Vitality is much much better, but I'm not at all surprised you think whirlwind is good. Herp Derp.

I've played sorc since Beta and if you ask half the asmo faction, they'll tell you I've been wtfpwning almost everyone while running around in crappy blue gear. You've got no idea what you're up against, kiddo.
