So apparently Ashton Kutcher's going to be getting the highest TV salary in history on the extremely famous show Two and a Half Men. His salary is scheduled to be $700,000 US per episode. This is like mocking the poor which their needs are far more greater than Ashton Kutcher's ones. Comments?

This is the most ridiculous opinion I've ever read. mocking the poor you say? then tell the "poor" people to work their ass off like rich people do and you will see is not that easy to built his legacy. F*ck the poor I really don't care about them, they aren't the ones in the academy training and studying for me nor recording TV shows for Ashton. "cada cual con lo suyo" each individual on their own.

Some people legitimately got laid off because of the economy and can't find another job. Especially people who are laid off/fired at a late point in their life, they may have worked their ass off up until that point but most companies don't want to hire someone in their 50's nowadays, especially 60's, they'd rather hire young workers with more energy, so even if the person is a hard worker with a great resume, sometimes they get screwed over because of their age and can't find work.

The people that actually don't do anything, yes I completely agree that they don't deserve stuff, but $700,000 per episode is overkill. Even for an actor, that kind of money is just absurd. If he's nice he may give it to charity, but the thought that in our economy and the fact that we just had a major debt crisis come up, companies are paying actors THAT much and setting the bar that much higher for future generations is just stupid.

Also, its a terrible influence. In high school all I ever ****ing heard is "i want to be an actor!" or "**** my school work, I'm going to be a pro football player hahaha". Yeah, those people are idiots and sports now have an academic requirement to prevent athletes from simply giving up on schoolwork, but it is an absolutely TERRIBLE influence on kids nowadays when they see people get hired into acting/sports and be a millionaire a year later, then get featured on MTV Cribs a year later with their 5 expensive cars and a mansion.

didn't "friends" got 1million per episode for the last season ?

    Wiki:

In their original contracts for the first season, cast members were paid $22,500 per episode.[SUP][19][/SUP] The cast members received different salaries in the second season, beginning from the $20,000 range to $40,000 per episode.[SUP][19][/SUP][SUP][20][/SUP] Before their salary negotiations for the third season, the cast decided to enter collective negotiations, despite Warner Bros.' preference for individual deals.[SUP][21][/SUP] The actors were given the salary of the least-paid cast member, meaning Aniston and Schwimmer had their salaries reduced. The stars were paid $75,000 per episode in season three, $85,000 in season four, $100,000 in season five, $125,000 in season six, $750,000 in seasons seven and eight, and $1 million in seasons nine and ten.[SUP][17][/SUP][SUP][22][/SUP] The cast also received syndication royalties beginning with the fifth season.[SUP][20][/SUP]

So it seems, acting is the hardest work ever? In an episode how many days does it take to take?? Anyway you look at it it's really over priced compare to normal employees - even high paid ones. What's so special on being an actor to get such pay aside of the benefit of being popular, free stuffs from the brands you endorse, and so on?

You know, acting is not the issue. I would if I have the chance. As if it's so hard to act?? I do a lot of that before when I needed extra allowance when I was still studying >:} And I'd say I am good since it's effective.

No I am not. Jealous people are different from wondering people who can't seem to understand the point of getting 50x higher pay than others when in the end they get better benefits and all.
