Guild Wars 2 Anyone?

I've always been a GW follower because of the kind of game play and storyline it delivers to players and for the players.

I've been monitoring closely the development of Guild Wars 2 on their website, conferences, etc... and I thought I would share these videos with you.

I'm anxiously waiting for it to come out.

- Joint elemental attacks: If you light up a fire, others can use that fire to their advantage as well. They can shoot arrows or bullets thru the fire and ignite their projectiles. The same can be done with poison and other elements and condition-causing skills.

- Healing: If you can't find a healer, you can become a healer yourself anytime, you can switch your setup to complement your party in any other possible way, before and while in battle. DIVERSITY.

- Team Work: You get rewarded for helping other players, this is something you don't get to see in other MMO's. You're given an incentive to actually help other players and others players to help you. It just makes people join together.

- Storyline and Instances: They change and they are affected by your choices.

This a more extensive and in depth video of Guild Wars 2 Game Play. It's 14 Minutes long but if you like Guild Wars, you won't regret watching this. I strongly suggest that you watch this one if you want to get to know guild wars 2 from a completely different perspective. it's just an outstanding game.

Did I just hear that you can put a fire wall and the arrows that go through it become fire arrows and inflict more damage?

That's the wrong way to do it...
I prefer flesh to walls.

 

So it will be launched next year and will cost about 60E. Why so much talking for something so far away?

 

It's been in development for over a year now just like many other MMO's which are all over the gaming media and yet they're not released (i.e. Diablo 3).

This isn't "so much talking" but rather a preview or introduction to Guild Wars 2 for those that don't know much of it. I'd prefer people know about Guild Wars 2 now, a year away than 1 month before it's release. The more you know about a game, the more prepared you'll be when it's released and with the kind of game play GuildWars delivers, it's always good to keep up to date with everything you can about the game.
