God help me with this impossibly difficult looking class x.x
I mean can they even fight glads and temps and mages?

 

Voodoo got owned by a retail chanter here in Gamez that knew how to play it well... and my brother is a hardcore retail player.

Chanter is good. But their damage against plate is just annoyingly low.

In retail they DO hit much harder. They actually do hit like gladiators.


(Logically plunking it out their mantra buff + word of inspiration buff + the rest = lots of buffing power to their attack. Throw in the skill list damage depicted... it just DOES NOT ADD UP.)

 

I actually started playing chanter today, it's been pretty fun so far. The only class I haven't been able to kill is Templar really ._.

 

Aegis, in retail does chanter hit harder than glads?

 

Well if you have more attack than a glad then technically you should hit harder.

 

You could always look at like a challenge.

Chanter is fun :3, but yeah fighting temps is dam annoying lol. But they can't kill you either, unless they know what there doing, mostly for me it's a stalemate, it's not impossible though ^^, a chanter for a party makes it a fun raid xD, wipe the zergs until they come back with moar people t-t. Gl though :3. Don't use attack stones though, the attack only applies to regular hits, which you won't do much, you will be skilling, so use crit, and acc, if your going for dps.

Chanter is by far the most fun class I've played with. The only annoyin kills would be temp, and cleric, other chants. Specially clerics though, they can take for ever to kill specially if its a good cleric. Other then than its a smooth kill for the other classes

I tested this last night with my ranger, attack adds damage on auto attacks and skills. About 200 damage per hit on each.

 

as a templar its all about waiting for the attack buffs and some cooldowns. attack buffs + pull + stun (make him use remove shock) + root + shield burst (switch to great sword) + Break power (switch to shield) weave + stun with shield weave (switch to great sword) and DPS.

I've seen my brother Voodoo AKA Vaioretta play and that bish can play.

thats wrong kowo, attack stones do add damage on skills. Too sleepy to go look into aion source and show you the thread where they explain that attack adds to base damage before skill damage so it does adds to skill damage in the end.
