Fighting kiters

I'm a templar and I'm terrible at fighting any class that doesn't hold still and try to tank me, every technique I thought about fails every time. Doom Lure never seems to work due to shields of some kind, people practically auto anti-shock when I try to set up a stun/knockback/Break power combo, I only get one shot with Inquisitor Blow every 30 seconds...Which leaves me with charge and most people go through my Unwavering devotion and cc again when I use a skill to unroot myself. So it seems like there is no way to win for me, does anyone have any suggestions so I'm not killed with such little effort?

 

i have the same problem when i play glad because well im a horrible glad xD

easier for me just to play my ranger and kite others..

my suggestion would just be practice in duels get a friend that kites and practice different combos on him/her see what works best then try it out in actual PvP

 

seems like the word tank works.

normally that's what templars do. they run around be the tank, kill if they can and let your group do the rest.

but some exceptional beings do differently, basically exceed from what they do. Dranny seems to be good at it, RedCox,Zen too.

so you might want their advice how.

as downfalls' suggestion on duels, yes that normally do the trick so you LEARN how the skills works, but for pvp experience they vary from time to time on different people/classes/gears so you might want to always keep things in check.

 

don't forget to activate all your reflects when getting kite and learn the combos, Dume lure + stun with shield (make him use remove shock) root + shield burst (switch to greatsword) breakpower and DPS with greatsword.

get 2 sets:
MR set
and crit and attack set

is not that hard.

That isn't trolling, and google and youtube does help because using google would pretty much bring you up to a Aion forum mostly Aion NA which would most likely explain kiting and youtube would bring a visual appearance of classes kiting.
