To admins and carl, pls bring back the "bumping feature"in the trade section

Elow everybody, I just would like to let the admin or moderator or whoever is handling the trade section be aware of some changes that need to be remedied. I have notice that even if you just recently post a new thread for ur items for trade and even if other players have viewed and post offer and bump your thread, your thread will not be updated and relegated to the first page and if others will post again a new thread for their items, your thread will be relegated to the back pages or ur lucky if it will be in the 3rd or 4th page of the market thread section.....so the only way to update ur items for trade is to create a new one with new title and sometimes you will be accuse of spamming even though your thread is just the continuation of ur previous post or thread....its understandable that players will be lazy enough to view up to the last page or even as far as only 6th of 7th pages of the trade thread.....
So, I am asking the moderator or the admin to return the bumping function/feature of the previous trade thread although its good that both races are now combined to trade in one section.....

kudos to the good changes being made to make our forum more accessible and good to look at but hoping you could do something about this matters.....

If i am right , he meant that when someone else posts in your thread , your trading thread does not appear in the last 10 posts.

I'll explain.

Read this and you should understand everything. You are only allowed to bump your thread 5 times , once every 24 hours.
When others post , your thread does not get bumped because then the rule would be pointless , everyone would ask from their friends to bump their threads. People who are looking for trades can search in the market section , they will easily find what they want i believe.
The "Bump^" Button was added once this system was implemented , you can use it once every 24 hours , up to 5 times as i mentioned above.
If nobody replies to your thread for 15 days , it gets locked and you can create a new one with new bumps again.


ps: i should try to post in some trading thread and see if it gets bumped or not , just to make sure the guy is right.


EDIT: Woah... Daax and some other guy bumped their threads , and once i posted , they disappeared from the last 10 posts. Now THAT'S bad. They should not be bumped to the top but they should remain in the last 10 let's say , i'm sure people didn't post in 10 other threads before i refresh the page lol. I'll talk to lautaro about it.

so petro, did u get wat im trying to say all along??i know the number of post that can bump ur thread but if new post/thread are made, ur previous thread will be relegated to the backpages and nobody will bother or take time to search or view all the pages...maybe up to 5 pages only.....and anyway, wether ur friend or others bump ur thread, then it meant to be stickied or be put on notice because this is the buy and sell section and you want to trade all ur items that u post....
so hoping it will reached the right person and something good will be done to this.....the previous trade transaction before was more player interactive than now cos eventually ur thread will be refreshen every bump that u recieved unlike wat is happening now....

 

another thought that cross my mind the reason the bump is not happening as it should function is that both race or faction namely, elyos and asmos are offering all their items for trade in just one section alone and the sheer number of players that are putting or creating their trade post or bumping or wat will make even the newly created thread /post be relegated to the backpages....... i guess, it should be better if we again divide the trade section between elyos and asmos or so that post or threads for trade will be easily bump and more accessible to view to the players ......just my pov on the matter and pls put ur insight or ideas or correct me if im wrong......but pls lets be civilize and no flaming pls...im sure this will be for the benefit of all and not just for me or for the chosen few.....

 

Yes , i first thought that you meant the thread doesn't get bumped when someone posts , but now i tried it out and i saw what happened , not only it doesn't get bumped but instead of bumping ur thread u debump it... that's not really good x_x i sent a pm to lautaro , waiting for a reply.
For now , all i can say is please be patient.

Remove the post count at the trade sections and let people bump their threads as much as they want, ffs.

It is not the post count , it is the spam which gets annoying. I personally feel annoyed when i see 5 out of 10 threads in the latest posts being trade threads. It is better like that now. Why would someone care about the post count anyway?

 

see, a classic exmaple was the one made to arashix22 new thread /post in the market section..he posted a new thread for the previous items that he want to trade since his previous thread was relegated to the backpages and nobody bothers anymore to view or offer post to it so he made a new one but was reprimanded by the Aion Master himself, Gravexd when all he wants is to offer for trade his items......unlike here, the best example is here in forum, ....when somebody post or answer in my thread it will be refreshen and will be relegated to the top 10 post or something....or for all old post for that matters....as long as somebody answer or post, ur thread will be refreshen and will be put in the first page or so for people to read and view.....so i just would like to suggest for the mods to create different trading section for the two race, elyos and asmos to encourage players to post /offer their items for trade in forums other than ingame.....

also, as i see it, spamming for spamming purposes only is sanctionable and should be consider as a pest and should be punished......but bumping or spamming ur trade post for you to be able to sell or to let others see wat ur offering , its not spamming per se but a SELLING/MARKETING TECHNIQUE until you find a right buyer./seller for ur items....

 

about the pink name NO... just simply go back to page 1 you`ll see a pink name
and i said I SEE A PINK NAME so obviously there is a pink name already and as you can see urs is still black so there for I didnt mean YOU

ok, jesenetth, my bad...sorry for the honest mistake....and thanks for the reminder......and hoping the admin will make something about it soon cos again, some players like abgleather had been reprimanded and his new post has been close since its been deem spamming since he's trading same items but guess was swamped and relegated to the backburner as it is.... i hope the Aionmaster himself will create a GENERAL ITEM THREAD for his items for trade to see if it will be accessible easily or will also be relegated at the back.... no offense though to the AM.....

As Daax said... It would be nice to be able to bump once in 8 hours...coz once in 24 hours is just uh xD

I rather this bump system since people cant event follow a simple rules as bumping every 24... They just spam their post every 10-30m and its really ANOYING.
